Title: 14 unisex onesies (mostly animal/sea theme)
Post by: Theraven on November 11, 2008, 06:12:30 pm
4 versions, as usual.

They're not tested ingame - simply because I don't have the time to do it right now. I've got a huge bunch of outfits that really needs testing, But I'm sure they should work just as fine as the other onesies I've made :) (though if there are any problems, just tell me, and I'll fix it as soon as possible)

Read this before downloading (so I can avoid questions that this text answers):
1. NO additional meshes needed, since the meshes are "built in"
2. REMOVE all other infant outfits - both recolors and meshes - or they will conflict with these ones. Put only ONE of the outfits (one .package file)in your downloads folder
3. The graphic setting SIM/DETAIL must be on high for the outfits to work correctly.
4. Put this in you Downloads folder (or defaults folder if that's what you use)
5. The clothes override the maxis diaper - but works just like it. They go off when you ask a sim to bathe the baby or change its diaper.
6. ALL infants will wear the outfit you choose - both girls and boys

7. Thanks Bloom :D

Raven,

I had an idea, but I don't know enough about using SimPE to know if it would work.  I'm obsessed with being able to use your infant outfits in my game with some type of clothing changer so that I can dress all my infants differently.
Do you think this method of making tattoo overlays would work as a way of putting your outfits on infants?  There is a controller.

Maybe its possible when one mesh is used but with multiple textures.
You could use a mesh that has the hat and pacifier in it but make the textures DXT3 and enable alphatest so you can remove stuff with only the texture file(like alpha's do)

I did hear you can attache a mesh to the overlay but its to complicated for me

I tried to figure out how to make it work, but it's too much for my small brain to handle, maybe Maxis will be nice and let us dress infants in more than one outfit in The Sims 3.
