I think she is hiding her ignorance and fear behind her beliefs. Wicca and paganism are not Satanism and she is sadly mistaken in lumping them all in together. I was raised with religion but have learned about other forms of belief. If you don't educate yourself, then you should just keep your mouth shut about your ignorance and let people wonder rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

If you can't be bothered to look around and inform yourself on what's been going on, then enjoy that thousand, whatever currency your country has, paperweight, because sure as corn grows in the fields and old men like taking naps, one way or another, Securom is going to cause you or someone that you know problems. It's a good site, you ought to take the time to read. You don't have to join to read, as Sara and Mary said earlier, but if you have something to say or a question to ask, it's not that big a hassle. I was posting less than two minutes after I joined. If you wanna know what happened to my good gaming computer, the one I was sooo darn proud of last year, check it out. http://securom.sublimesims.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=70:ea-nearly-cost-me-memories-of-my-dying-father&catid=48:what-you-have-said&Itemid=74

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Paysite Discussion Thread

I think for me, it's the fact that EA says that you may not profit from selling the custom content, sis of mine. Cover bandwidth costs, yes. Profit, no. And like you, I can't make squat for the game except a mess! I do bless all of the people who can make custom content but I am picky. Some are better than others. For example, I prefer Yakov's work to someone else who happens to be on a paysite. That isn't because Yakov's is free, though that is a bonus, but it's because he takes time and effort to make the stuff he has, he lets his talent shine. If I could pay him in brownies, I would. I think that's how I would pay anyone, though... But, some of the pay content I've seen doesn't appeal because it just doesn't look right in my game, or it breaks my game, you get the idea. I guess my thing is that if you're going to profit from pixels, they ought to be on a game disk. Sorry, you can hate me if you wish, but it will break my heart if you do. We just have different ways of believing, really. I'm not rabid, I'm not out to harm anyone, I'm not even going to spit in your eye if you are pro-paysite. I'm just going to say that I don't think the same way and leave it at that and hope the friendships that I have made because of this game endure.

My parents had six kids all under the age of eighteen at one time. When I was born, one sister was four, one was eight, the other was ten, one brother was twelve and my other was sixteen. The oldest brother was exactly eighteen, so yeah, we had quite the household! There were three boys and three girls, so I was supposed, note that I said supposed to be the tie-breaker on the side of the males, but... Mom didn't get her way and Dad did! Yep, he wanted another girl... Although, I was such a horrible tom boy that he may as well have gotten another son! I was never girly and cried when I had to wear a dress and ruffle-butt tights... Which was pretty much every day until I was in second grade! Dresses, bleh! I'm really glad that your brother got to go home, and that you had fun giving him his bottle. And nope, not going to think you're going to want one of your own any time soon! The time of being young and responsible for only yourself is short so you should enjoy it until you truly figure out what you want to do with your life. Nothing wrong with being a mother, don't get me wrong, but be young while you can!

He started walking at ten months and climbs like he just came out of the trees, and when he was smaller, he used to make all of those cute baby noises. Those stopped when we moved households twice in three months... You think he just could have felt insecure and now that we've lived here for about two, three years in this house, he may feel secure enough to talk again? One time I asked why he didn't talk more, he looked at me and said, "don't want to," as he walked away from me...

Charlotte, that's gratifying to find out that the little guy is going to be better soon, I'm very happy for your mother and you, and the whole family! Good news on my front, as well! My son, the one who everyone thinks is mentally backwards, has begun to TALK! Finally, at three and a half years of age, my little dude is speaking in words that I can understand! I've waited for this day for so long... Yeah, he's still shy about talking, but dang! I can understand him and KNOW that the lights are truly on upstairs, ya know?
