Chaavik, you might be right.

If that is the case, then a mod that could help that would be Pescado romance mod which is only available by getting the directors cut.  WFsanity and romance mod are a good combination and alternative to the ACR mod which is way more complex mod and might make your sims do things you would not want espacially when their timer goes out.

You could also consider using Pescado norandomcrush mod but be warned that this one makes it impossible for your sims that do not have at least 2 bolts for each other (both sims truly have 2 bolts for each other, not only one of them) to have romantic interactions.

Pescado at MATY used to have a mod called no random flirts.

It was merge with his WFsanity mod (WF stands for Wants&Fears) so with WFsanity you should not have this problem anymore.

I've been using that mod since it is out and did not see any of my sims have random flirt wants with sims they barely know.  You can get it Here

ACR does not stop those wants as far as I know.

Pinhead made one a longtime ago at MTS2 but it has not been updated since Seasons ep.

Maybe it could be a good base to create a compatible FT and AL version.  I was using it in the past so would love it to be updated too.  Find own place for teens

My impression is that the maker of each of the cc food would need to enable each of them for your request, I doubt a global mod can do that.

There is a mod ( in Squinge section on this site) permitting you to have more than 8 members living on a lot btw so just install that mod and the patch and it should work.

Try to delete your groups.cache file located in the sims 2 folder, often it is that file causing this kind of problems.

If you only burn your downloads folder, only your downloads will be saved which is what you seem to want.

If you want to keep some of your hoods, you need to burn your neighborhoods folder too.

I second this request.  I also find it annoying and since FT it is worst since sims with Family as second aspiration will also do that sometimes.

I think this might have been made since I saw it once but I've search and did not find it again and I do not know if it is Ft and higher compatible.

Most of the mods you mentionned were updated for FT, just go back on the site which you originally got them from and check for updates.

Any of the identify mods have a name related to that behavior?  

The best for now would be to totally remove your downloads folder, not just disable it and see if you are still paying more, if without any cc it is not, one of the things in there is responsible, you will have to manually isolate it if no mods have a clear name to lead you.

You might have ended up with a mod modifying that without knowing it.   It can happen when you install lots.

You can use the Clean installer from MTS2 to check what mods you have and any mods/objects that are not identify with a clear name but have instead weird letters and numbers you should delete.

Your problems might be caused by outdated mods or old cc objects that are not AL compatible, make sure all the ones you have are AL compatible and remove any that you are unsure about.  You can also delete your groups.cache file located in the sims 2 folder, it might help.
