76  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / No Relationship Decay New Alternate Version Available(7/09/06) on: November 24, 2006, 05:49:04 pm

This mod isn't compatible with pets, the pets version will be posted soon.

All hail the hack master!

What files/folders do I need to run the conflict testing utility?

I have a Mac with a windows partition and I would like to get to the bottom of the pledging issue.

(of course, I should probably actually go test now that this mod isn't in my game to see if it was even the issue. :sign5: )

Thanks again.

No you have to score high enough to join the greek house.

He was.  The only other Uni hacks I have are yours (research fun, college assignment fun, etc. and less pledge time).

If I had the same sim and had him invited over to the greek house of choice, he immediately is allowed (and wants) to join.

Also, are all of these not compatible with pets, or only the "less relationship decay" one?  I'm already going nuts with getting the relationship warnings and I've only had Pets for a couple days.
78  Resident Creators / EP3 Mods / EP3 Required:Spawn Barista New Version Available(9/24/06) on: November 20, 2006, 10:24:54 pm
I'm getting a database error whenever I try to download this one...  Insim having issues?  I've been able to download some other things just fine this session though...
79  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Skip School No Grade Loss New Alternate Versions(9/30/06) on: November 20, 2006, 10:23:26 pm
This is only when they accidentally (or you make them) skip school, right?  They still go to school normally otherwise?
80  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Servo Change Appearance Package New Version(6/26/06) on: November 08, 2006, 12:23:26 am
I'm still confused on this one... I like it, but maybe I'm confused because I really don't have servos quite yet (still don't have anybody who can build one...)

Guess what I get for having a Mac and getting OFB late...

Anyway, the Bender servo I downloaded on MTS2 has a different method, I guess, for looking like he does (formalware) but this allows them to use various in-game tools to make them look human?  What tools would I use then?

And if these don't show up on your "Mods that are not compatible with Pets Updated" list then it's safe to use them, right?
82  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / In Testing:Hire family members for your shop v1.3 new version available(4/14/06) on: November 06, 2006, 10:39:39 am
I've been trying this one out recently and it works great for making sure your community lot is staffed with family members when you send another sim to it (family members keep their originally assigned jobs) however while on the lot as the family nobody's wages can be increased nor do they have the 'I'm an employee' bubble over their heads.

It's perfect for making sure staffing needs are filled for other visiting sims, but when on the lot with the owners it'd be great to make sure all the assigning and managing options stay active for the owner.

I don't know if this has any bearing, but the teen of the family hired all of the family (three siblings and her two parents).  It was quite amusing seeing the 'ask permission to go out' dialgue next to management, but I couldn't have her fire them... though oddly they could go to any family member and quit.
83  Resident Creators / EP3 Mods / EP3 required:Pass Along Business Perks Fast New Alternate Version(9/24/06) on: November 05, 2006, 01:08:42 pm
I don't really want to pass along in just one second, but tried it out with the less fast and it was still crawling with the half time.  I have to say though, it was greatly appreciated for the interaction to always be accepted.

Could it be pushed to quarter time when you have the time?  My hope is to pass along in one discussion between the two sims but not be instantaneous?

I did look into it Smiley & for some reason they are invisible memories, maybe they always were I can't remember, lol

Awesome.  As long as knowledge sims who want others probed get satisfied I'm satisfied.  That's one of the most annoying wants I've seen for me.

If you get a sim abducted normally without forcing the abduction the rest of them should get an abduction memory that was at least before pets I have not look to see if the rest of the household get a memory

Right, but wasn't this supposed to give forced abductions the same thing... or not?

I don't have EP4 yet (not Mac released... supposedly will be tomorrow) so I have no idea about if it's compatible there, but I know JM's was compatible with at least NL (if not OFB) I just switched to this one because it has more options and has been updated.

What else is needed for others to get the memory that they were abducted?  I'm using the memoryabductedfamilyenabled package yet nobody noticed after running and witnessing the return of the sim.

Awesome.  Is this the autonomous version or the not autonomous version?

EA still has sleeping at community lots disabled (even with Pets), so we'll still need a hack in order to allow those beds to work. I keep coffins at my cemetaries, but I can't use them without the hack. :angry7: I still don't know why sleeping on community lots was removed (starting with OFB) in the first place!

Probably so that you wouldn't create immortal sims who never leave their businesses and end up living on community lots.  Had they simply had a check in/out counter so we could have hotels, that would have fixed the problem.  Then if there is a check/out desk the community lot would allow sleeping, and otherwise it wouldn't.  Oh well...

The "AllShopsSleepingAlways" version of this hack will not work with Pets. I was getting constant jump bug errors whenever I tried to have a dog or cat sleep on a bed (they would give me an error report with boolprop enabled and they would sink through the floor without boolprop).

I removed my hacks one by one, and when I removed this one, the pets slept on the beds fine. I checked it quite a few times...

I guess it will need to be updated.

Wait a minute, does that mean there's even a need for this after Pets?  Or do only the Pets sleep on beds without this mod and the owners still won't?

Say, would it be possible for this to be causing my problem in University?  Right now I'm trying to have a Sim rush with a greek house, and while he's best friends with all of the members that are sent, he's consistently denied joining.
