When I first played the Sims 2, it was bare bones. The only thing people were doing were recolors. I remember my first dl. I was a shirt colored purple. What made me laugh was when my Sims turned around and the side wasn't colored. I remembered getting excited when you could put a picture on a shirt.
I'm not saying hey when the game comes out I want my Sims doing it upside down, but the fact that I can't get a recolor from you or someone else. I have to pay for a recolor? Yes we are a society that wants it fast and we want it tomorrow. I'm not s***ing on ppl who want the game. Hell I'm still one the fence. I want it I don't it's bad blah blah.
One of the great things about the Sims are the people. A lot of ppl are friends because of the boards. Some ppl actually met on the boards and fell in love and are having babies. It's a game that brought us together. I'm more of a lurker. I like to read what's going on. I don't say much because sometimes someone else beats me to the punch. Makes no sense to repeat what they said. I guess we can agree to disagree. You all have your strong opinions on the matter, as do I. Some are going to sh*t on it, some are going to wait and see, and some are going to jump and get it. My last 3 cents I'm broke.

Congratulations about the raise. That truly is a blessing. Good luck with the inlaws, and another congrats to your little girl on her completion.
Thank you very much  BTW I'm going to see my sister on Mother's day. I haven't seen her in over 5 years. I finally get to meet my 2 nieces. Yay |

I'm leaning towards not getting The Sims 3. I have a reservation for the game. It's more like 70 bucks or so. I guess they are charging me for the "extra goodies".
I enjoy the CC , like I said before I think I dl more than I play the game. Everyone has their own spin on why the don't or do want the game. One of the reasons why I ppl love the game and continue to deal with EA's bull is all the CC, and Mods they can get. What you have to understand it's not about playing a vanilla game. It's about how EA is trying to take us for a ride, destroy our computers, and basically not give a crap about us. So I guess I will cancel my reservation and I'll wait and see what the good ppl will do for/to The Sims 3. I still enjoy playing the sim 2 and finding new things everyday. That's my 3 cent (har har)

Congrats to all. I'm excited my fiancee got a raise. In today's economy it's a blessing. My daughter is graduating from Pre-K. (Fl is ass backwards if I was still in NY she would be going to first grade in Sept.) I'm meeting my IN-laws in JUNE. We are going to MN. What a culture shock that is going to before me  |

Ha my Fiancee and daughter are always doing Squidward. I have a soft spot for Mr. Crabs. When we drove down to Fl, we stopped at a rest stop and I found a Mr Crabs. He is hanging on our mirror. Every once in a while I'll make him dance and say Money Money Money. My daughter gets a kick out of it.
Getting back to topic. Golden Girls. I still watch the rerun. I'm a TV kid from the 80's. I used to watch almost all the shows back then. My current shows are more reality. Hell's kitchen and Top Chef. I do like the food network. I think I want to go into culinary school. Money is tight so I gotta sit on that dream for awhile.
