1  Sims 2 Community Downloads / CAS Scenes & Music / Love songs for all the movie makers on: April 24, 2007, 09:03:10 am
Summer Wine:

I write music using 2 loop based music programs ( Sony Acid Pro 6 and Sonicfire pro 4) I use these to create background music for commercials and wedding videos. All this music is royalty free , it just cant be used for a music cd or audio compliation.

6  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Walls, Floors & Murals / Chroma Key Wall Set on: April 22, 2007, 03:52:15 pm
Here is a chroma key wall set for all who want to put their sims in other environments . For those who have never done chromakeys, there are a lot of tuts out there, just do a search. These are good for stills as well as movie files.
What I did was build a 2 wall set and added a lot of lights to make sure there were no shadows against the wall. Also, don't put a sim character closer than 2 or 3 tiles from the wall.

8  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / System Specs please on: April 20, 2007, 09:26:04 pm
Just wondering what your system specs are.
Are you having video drop out issues?
Have you noticed any probs when you're playing a video file?
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Body shop on: April 20, 2007, 03:57:27 pm
Have you just installed an expansion pack ? If so, you have to use the bodyshop in the newest expansion. ((eg seasons)C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Seasons\CSBin\ts2bodyshop.exe.) Right click on the .exe file and choose create shortcut then pull the shortcut to your desktop. None of the other exes will work after that. After you package your sims, it will tell you where your sims was saved to . Just double click that file and it will install to your downloads. you can then move it to your saved sims folder if you want.
10  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Red Water on: April 20, 2007, 03:26:21 pm
A sign of the coming Apocalypse?. Not really . I had a similar prob , turned out i had a bad water hack. I know that seems simple, but did you download any kind of hack or plumbing fixture before this started happening?
11  Sims 2 Community Downloads / CAS Scenes & Music / Music for your sims on: April 20, 2007, 03:13:57 pm
Here is a song for your sims. Its called Bad Johnny and comes from my music library ( I'm a pro video editor). Its fully licensed for games and sims videos, but can't be used in a music compilation or cd (sorry).
Enjoy
12  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Meshes on: April 20, 2007, 10:01:58 am
Id try just your head meshes as that seems to be where the prob is
13  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Default meshes on: April 19, 2007, 10:07:01 pm
The default meshes are still in your game, they are just being over ridden by some meshes in your downloads folder. I would remove meshes 1 at a time (sorry) and see what the offending mesh was or if you knew what mesh your wonky characters were built on, i would delete those and see if that helps.
14  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Face problem. on: April 19, 2007, 03:25:17 pm
My guess is that the meshes you are using for your custom characters  are not seasons friendly. Try reloading the default maxis meshes or mod some of the chracters here and see if that helps.
15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Codec. on: April 19, 2007, 08:43:33 am
After doing a lot of reseach and spending a lot of sleepless nights (not really)
It seem that the prefered maxis codec is the on 2 codec. (its installed when you install the sims 2) This codec is used for the sim movies by default. That way, everyone will have a common codec to share vid files.
