1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Default skintones... how do I get rid of them? on: April 06, 2007, 08:57:27 am
Oh I found them (they're in all different places, not really by each other at all)! Is all I do is remove package?

Well I looked through all my skintones, and they're all just the custom content ones, I couldn't find the default. (I look in Sims2Pack Clean Installer w/ pictures).

Does anyone know the insim file name under downloads?

I updated the insimenator. First, since I noticed the problem after I installed it, I'm going to delete it.. Then if I still can't call sims (which REALLY is very annoying, especially since I love Legacies and it gets hard not being able to call people, especially when I need spouses and friends!), I'll look at the hacks that conflict with Pets and try and find one that I might've downloaded.

I don't remember what the file name was though.. Which isn't too smart. But would there be like a general name that I could try and find, or are they all different? I mean I know downloads have their own names, but would the defaults have things like skin_defaults or does it all depend?

Yeah I do, and I have pets, and I was looking at the hacks that could cause conflict in pets, but I didn't find any. So it's probably a conflict with InSim I guess..

On the other hand, I don't use InSim that much anymore, I did for a while but now I don't... It's a really cool thing, and I love it, but do I just go in the game, in the buy mode and delete it like other custom content? Or do I have to go into my downloads folder? Cause I'm pretty sure that it's conflicting with another hack but I can't figure out with one.

I already have the Sims2Pack Clean Installer, but I haven't really figured it out yet.. I downloaded it for something before, but then forgot about it. How can I find it and delete it off of that?

I think that it was after I installed InSim... But everytime that I try to call someone to come over or just talk, my sim puts down the phone after dialing. I know that that happens sometimes, but this happens ALL the time. Does anyone know what this could be? A conflict between downloads or something? And if I have to delete something, what should I delete?

Hi, I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I didn't know where else to ask.

I downloaded some default skintones, they looked very pretty ... but in my game, they look absolutely horrible! Does anyone know how to get rid of them? I looked for them (in Sims 2 downloads), but I don't remember the file name. I searched my files under "default" and "light_default" and all that other stuff. So can anyone help?

 Thanks!
