Ok.. Can you change the filename of sims in the saved sims folder?

Additionally is there something other than simpe that I can maybe figure out what sims is what in my saved sims folder?

I ask this because I got a new commputer and did a clean install of sims. But I have my files from the install that was on my old drive and there are a few sims Id like to have back.
On the same note can I just pluck out sim files from one saved sims folder and plop them into the clean install's saved sims folder?

Are they slightly different shades? Or is it the way you took the pics? I *love* the color of the defaults but I've already got a vamp default in place.

Was just wondering if its because the skin was transparent over their normal skin or just lighting?

well when my hubby decided to muck with our comp, he effectively made it not work. SO we got a new one, meaning no sims nothing for me... After getting the new comp we found nothing got wiped from my hard drive. So I still have all my sims stuff.

Needless to say I started with a clean install for BV on the new computer. In the long run it was probably the best idea to do too. Now I can actually organize my downloads as I put them in

I havent run across any real problesm yet. Of course mines a brand spankin new clean install, since I got a new computer a month ago. Id Only added some skins and makeup along with Pescado's BV anti redundancy fix and 2 other fixes.

Though I did notice it tends to lag a bit. Some times freezes up for a few seconds then resumes.. more so on a vacation lot. ALso noticed while I was on vacation(twiki island hotel) that the fast foward(fastest) would go a bit slow..

I didnt notice fishies in my pond yet.. though it was winter when I created it.. but Ill check later. I may just need to mess with my video card settings.

Ive heard there may be some sound card or graphic card issues? I do have a sound blaster audigy SE card and an onboard sigma tel codec..
Using a nvidia 8500 GT graphics card, 2gb ram, AMD athalon 64x2 dual core 3600+(Im used to pentiums and know practically nothing of amd).

She's sarcastic to a fault, bookwormy, competative, mild mannered, kind, sometimes reserved and nerdy. She does like to have fun though too but can sometimes be a little anal retentive over some things. Generally willing to get along with anyone, unless of course you've done something to piss her off. Even though she's competative by nature, she's a good sport about it. Mirin models because its something to do. :brain: lol

Give her a drink and she's happy. xD Though she's no alcholic, but a drink here and there surely wont hurt. She definately needs to work on her tan. Sometimes she does have her moments. :goofy:
