Actually, that's happening to me again. Tried the program Squinge was talking about, but didn't have any conflicts reported

That's probably what's causing the sign to disappear.

Sorry, I can't recognize the hack I disabled since it's just a bunch of numbers.

When I first tested this mod, after I restocked one crafted item, I found a lot of junk items that can only be deleted by move_objects on in my inventory. After I deleted those things. I tried restocking a crafted item, the out of stock sign disappears.

CyberOps: check your sims' inventories. If you found junk stuff in there, that might have caused the signs to disappear.

Off topic, but somewhat related...
If it's still not working, I have a sugesstion (alternate way)

1. type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true on the cheat window
2. SHIFT+click on the out of stock sign
3. Choose *Fake Restock

You will still get the annoying message "there are no crafted items in the owner's inventory", but your crafted items will still be restocked.
