1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Difficulty exiting/moving in a family on: May 31, 2009, 05:23:23 am
Recently, I've had some trouble exiting the game. The screen freezes and then I have to use ctrl-alt-delete to get back to my desktop. This also happened when i tried to move a family into an apartment. The hourglass/mouse just kept turning and turning and I had to reboot the computer. Anyone else here ever have this problem?

I am quite sure that this problem doesn't only happen to me. My disk is not a pirated copy (i ruined myself to buy it), yet everytime i insert it and try to play, a error message pops up and says
"There is no disk.
Please insert the original CD/DVD of freetime."

Thus I ask "any advice?"

P.S I am not sure if there is already a thread about this problem.
4  Simmers' Paradise / FreeTime Help / Comp won't read disk on: October 31, 2008, 04:47:07 am
Well... the problem still persists. i tried uninstalling all my games and now the computer won't read any of them!

Well now i managed to reinstall them but when i try to play free time, it aks me to put in the original disk, even though i am playing with the original. Any ideas?

I have recently brought Sims 2 bon voyage (today in fact). However when I but it in, the computer had no reaction when normally a pop-up should appear asking me to install the game. This isn't the first time this has happened. It also happened with my free time game.

Any advice?

More generations. Like new born, baby, toddler, preschooler, child, preteen, young teen, older teen, young adult, adult, middle age, older age, and very old.

I quite agree. How about when the sims get "very old", they can get dementia, bad gums and might have to go to the retirement home?

I also agree with the more diseases and was thinking that maybe we could have a range of mental illnesses, or personality disorders. I would really like to see a sociopath rather than a sim with low nice personality points.
