its a brand new laptop i think im just gonna take it back to the store and have them fix it cuz im getting a crittacal driver wont start error message. ty for all the help!
Do you have any CC? If so that sometimes causes the game to crash if the CC is not compatible with the game you have. Have you updated your drivers? Do you have enough memory to run the game?
I had to reinstall my sims2 recently but I start to play it and it crashes on me when its starting to load for no reason at all! What can I do to fix this problem?
Okay I just got major help from Best Buy for this issue! first go and right click the icon for the Sims2 you are useing than go to properties/conpatibility/conpatibility mode/ check the box and you should be able to run your sims normaly.
Im haveing a bit of the same issue myself I've had the orriginal, NL & Pets for a while now. I just recently got a brand new top of the line gameing laptop and all but Famly Fun Stuff & Celebration Stuff for the S2 games. I got the orriginal, Uni & NL installed no problem but when I go to try to install the rest... I cant... I am right now instaling the patches for said games to see if it helps at all because I cant even play any of them right now!
I SOOO love to get comments They inspire me, and gives me even more ideas. now I've even gotten a book idea, I think (It's either going to be a REALLY long short-story OR a triology... depends if my imagination can come up with enough material to put in it ) I have no real hopes of getting it published, though...

Raven I love this story! Now I need to go and read Anna's Diary! lol but wow what a great story it made me cry... mostly the Poem... Im so saveing that for future use if you dont mind.
no nothing like that but if i do have InSim/InTeen instaled and like oh say custom items like meshed beds or something like that that i need to agree to it wont let me marry or engage my sims ... even with just InSim ... or even InTeen i cant engage them or marry them at all.. ever if there activated in my game
Every time i download something like a car or custum content that i need to click accept with i cant get my sims to get engaged or married at all! how can i get rid of this problem so i can have custom content in my game and engage & marry my sims off? :h3lp:HELP ME!!!:h3lp:
