Thank you so much for the lovely comment. I'm so happy you like them. You were right the first time. You need to pick either the Monkey Stripes or the Baby Turtle take the other one out. If you have more than one file they conflict with each other.
If you leave the Baby Turtle one in all your babies in the game will be wearing or born with the Baby Turtle outfit. If you decide you want them to be wearing the Monkey Stripes then you need to take out the Baby Turtle outfit and replace it with the Monkey Stripes outfit.
There is no possible way to have more than one of the files in your game at a time. I know it sucks...I wish there was a way but there isn't.
I do hope you enjoy them and if you have any other question please feel free to ask.
Robin :daisy: Thank you so much, for responding. ^^ That really made it more clearer. Aw, that does suck. They are both very adorable and tons of infant outfits I want to use. D: I can't choose. lol Well, thank you again for the excellent response and for the lovely outfits. :-) Happy Simming. ^^

These are so darling; thank you, Vanilla. ^.^
A little confused. Are we only allowed to have one at a time.. like say I extract the turtle outfit in...and then when I want to use the Monkey one, I have to take the turtle one out?
Or.. do you mean.. 1 at a time as in.. extract them in one by one? =/ Sorry..if that was confusing.
Thanks again. ^^

Simmers' Paradise / Sims Stories / Pleasantview Soapbox ~ UPDATE 03/01 ~ FINAL CHAPTER

Thanks for the tip Zggs! I never tried the Tombstone before, but it sounds like it might come in handy. I've decided on how the story will end now, and I've decided that the next chapter will also be the last one. I just can't spare the time to replicate the Pleasantview neighborhood the way it was in my story. I definitely expect to finish the final chapter this month though. Aww . I have a question; After you have finished this next chapter, will you be making any new stories? And your welcome - Sorry, I didn't get to you before you had to go through all that reinstalling and stuff.

Thank you all so much for the positive comments. My sincere apologies for the long silence. Work has been absolutely crazy and the holidays took a lot of my time as well. I really needed a break from simming and everything else Now I have returned nice and tanned from a sweet little holiday on one of the canary islands. I also recently started playing the sims again, but I had a little accident. Yes, I broke my game And stupid me didn't have any back ups of my neighborhood I really don't know what I did wrong. I downloaded a lot of stuff and then my game refused to start. So I removed my complete download folder and the stupid game still didn't start. I decided the best thing to do was to uninstall and reinstall everything. At the moment I nearly have all my EP's installed again. Because I was playing my Pleasantview neighborhood for the story I hope that with the help of some hacks (like inSIMenator) I';; be able to kind of recreate the whole storyline again. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully I'll still be able to post the rest of the sim story. Omg! I Love your stories of the Premades. I was doing something like this.. I wanted to make little stories about them. And have a few different stories happen and then keep them on the same track as Maxis did.. but I'm a huge procrastinator. T_T lol. I have so many things I want to do.. that I'm trying to do them all at once. lol. Anyways... Hun. I wish I had seen this sooner. I think I have a solution to your problem. However, I "could" be wrong.. so.. :-/ maybe don't get your hopes up. This happened to me as well. I always have to go on a huge downloading spree. And then one day.. I go to start up my game... I wait. . . and wait. Hmm. thinks -- well, I did just download abunch.. soo it could be why it's taking so long... Nope. Never came up. . Then I thought.. well I'll just go into Bodyshop. Waited. Never came up. By then, I was freaking out. I tried everything, system restore, removing my downloads, removing my certain neighborhoods. Nothing. Then with the help of my boyfriend, we tried everything! Nothing again. Then . . . I got to thinking.. wait a minute. Bodyshop isn't coming up.. what was that thing... OH Yeah. I took this one shot to try and see if this would work: And it did! ^.^ Try this. Well.. I'm not sure.. is your bodyshop working? If so.. still try this hun, it could fix your game. Seeing as my game wasn't coming up either. Go to: Start My Documents (Or where ever you stored your The Sims 2 game) Ea Games The Sims 2Scroll all the way down. Or until you find a file called Groups.Cache. Grab the file and move it to your desktop. Then re-load your game. Now, do not worry about that file. Once you start up your game, it automatically makes a new one. IF your game loads up. Your groups.cache file was corrupted. This happens sometimes. I'm assuming, it happens when you download alot. Just.. sometimes it ends up corrupted, I have no idea why. lol You can also move your accessories.cache to your desktop too. Once your game loads up (if it does) you can check the folder again to see new ones. (And not so big of KB being used either) and then you can delete the "copied" ones from your computer. Good luck, Sweetie. And I hope this helps you get your game to working again. :-) It did for me.

It seems it's not a good idea to bring up the subject; But, has TSR done something bad? ; ; I've been a member of that site for umm almost 5 years now and back then I was fairly active. But, I tend to go there just to read up on some of the Simmers stories. And to look at downloads etc etc.
I guess, if it's not allowed to be discussed, my apologies. T_T. Anyways, I do like Sunair's Hair Meshes; they are very nice and they also have some rather amazing object sets. ^^

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Downloaded Sims
|

In order to get downloaded sims into your game, you go into CAS, select custom sim and select the one you want. As far as naming, that's all up to you. Downloaded sims will not appear in your sim bin waiting to be played.
The way MissTwentixOne described moving sims between neighborhoods is extremely buggy and will lead to errors in the new neighborhood. I've heard Maxis has admitted it's broken and don't move sims in this manner.
However you can move the sims onto a lot, then EXPORT the lot, quit the game, and install the lot. The next time you play the lot with sims will be in the occupied lot bin waiting to be placed in the new neighborhood.
As SimPE isn't BV compatible yet, if you have BV, that's the only option at the moment. :crybaby: I'm sorry, I had no idea it was buggy. I have done it before and there seemed to be no problems. However, I haven't recently done it with Seasons or Bon Voyage.

Hmm, I'm not sure about you're first question. x_x Is it because the name is too long? And it's giving an error message about it being too long or invalid? If not, I don't know. I'm sorry. You're second question I know two ways.. but I'd probably go with the first one as I don't have much information about the second. One way you can move you're Sims to a new neighborhood is by putting them on a lot, then putting that lot into the Lot Bin and then going into you're new neighborhood and placing the lot somewhere in you're neighborhood. Then, if you ever want to move them out, you can and they will go to the Sim Bin. Or you could use SimPE.. I think. But, I don't know much about that program. Sorry. Good luck!
