Just a quick question for those of you who "cut back"; how did you do it? Was there a program you used? Were you in game? Is there a program that will actually show you what you are looking for rather than the object it may have been cloned from? I have a lot of CC and really want to get things organized but, it is such a pain to try and figure out what things are if you aren't actually looking at them! I don't necessarily want to delete files, maybe just remove them temporarily; that way I can kind of mix things up once in a while!

I found out that my previous card was still in the way. I had uninstalled it using Add/Remove programs but, when I went into Device Manager, I discovered that it was still there! Very frustrating, but I am discovering that my computer has a mind of its own;)
  Thanks!!

								 Hello,
I just purchased and installed the Radeon 9250 graphics card. Unfortunately, when I start the game, I can hear the music playing but, I don't have any video. Does anyone have any information on this card? I'm assuming there must be some kind of adjustments that need to be made but, I'm at a loss! Any information will be much appreciated!
  Thanks! Dina

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I was getting so frustrated!! I waited all day for EA Games to reply to my question just so I could have the little dingbat tell me to Ctrl+Alt+Del and turn off background programs!! He then referred me to the very same minimum requirements page that I had mentioned to him in my original question:smt120!
Anyway, thanks again!! I uninstalled Seasons last week just so I could play a little bit but, I am so terribly greedy that I want all my Seasons CC and lots back!!:snorting:
Well, I'm off to order my graphics card!!

Thanks so much for your suggestions! I went to Dell and got their recommendations on upgrades for my computer. One of the graphics cards that came up was the Radeon 9250. I have attempted to contact EA Games to see if this card is compatible with the game as it is not specifically listed on the minimum requirements page but, that was a HUGE waste of time and typing;) Anyway, minimum requirements say anything above 8500 but also has a 9200 listed specifically. Does anybody know anything about this card?
  Thanks again!!

								 Good morning everyone!
I was hoping someone could help me! I have recently become addicted to The Sims 2. What this means is that I bought The Sims 2 Holiday Edition, installed it...found all the wonderful CC available out here on the WWW and became greedy;) (Insert...I now have all EPs and SPs except for H & M Stuff for "greedy"!)
Anyhoo...now I can't get the game to work right! I have temporarily uninstalled Season's but the game still responds very slowly!
Below is the information on my system:

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Neighborhood question

Hello everyone! I have downloaded and installed several new neighborhoods or terrains, still a little fuzzy about the difference:) Anyway, everytime I fall in love with what looks like a beautiful tropical island or something along that line, I get excited, install it, and then, when I go to use it, none of the beeaches or waterlines show up. In fact I had a couple this morning that were just absolutely wonderful; sandy beaches, nice sloping waterline, etc. but when I loaded it to play it was all squared off, angular with no sand or waterline:( Does anyone know what causes this? Is there anything I can do?
  Thanks so much!
  Dina
