Ugh i had a long reply written to you auntiejo, but then the power went out...
I just wanted to say that i think your sims do look sweet and cute and we all try to make them as cute as we can, and even though people don't comment, that doesn't mean that they don't like your pictures!
If i would leave comments to all the amazing pictures here then the post would be at least 5 pages long!
Don't bring yourself down auntiejo, you do a great job with your little sims!
People don't comment on my pictures very much either but i post them here anyway, just because i like them and i want to show them!
So keep posting your sweet simmies because me and a lot of other people would love to see them!

Well i'm not going to single anyone out, but i think all the little sims posted here are absolutely adorable and precious!

This is little Faith from one of the families i'm currently playing with,

Hmm well to be honest i have ignored all the Maxis sims so far, i just played with Don Lothario a little and he found another lady to hit on and got her pregnant
But now i feel like really messing around with them

Well as it turned out it was a corrupted file in the Saved Sims folder.
Actually my Sim hating husband helped me by finding the corrupt file
So i guess for now the problem is solved and everything works like it should for once

Yea i took out the Downloads folder and it still crashed on me,
but i haven't thought about checking the Saved Sims folder, which i will now do asap

Hey everyone,
I recently got a completely new computer system with 64 bit Vista Ultimate Edition
and an ATI Radeon HD 4800 graphics card that runs on DirectX 10.
So every time i try to start up Body Shop it gives me that
"The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." error.
But the game itself seems to be working just fine, it's just Body Shop that gives me that error on startup.
I did delete the cache files and the cigen.package file and i have no idea what to do.
I tried setting the compatibility mode and did everything i could think of, but got no results.
Game works but Body Shop doesn't.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Could it be related to Vista or any hardware or DirectX 10?
I'd really appreciate any help,
if i left out any info that might be useful, please let me know,
i have no clue what to do about it myself since i'm a complete n00b when it comes to troubleshooting and program errors....

Yep, as for my error, it was a cc problem.
The "No Zzz while sleeping" mod was causing it for me...

I get the exact same errors like
Error: Missing Effect Name
Error: Invalid routing slot specified (literal slotNum=0 numSlots=0) Ref3 (that one is actually new to me too)
But mostly it's the first one for me, started getting the
"Error: Missing Effect Name
....
    Stack Object name: Enthusiasm Tracker"
errors right after i installed Free Time and it happens every time the sims watch tv, read, paint or do anything that has Enthusiasm stuff involved.
Nothing to do with any of the hacks either since i tried removing them, still get the errors,
it's really annoying me too.

Okay what i really find annoying about Afterlife oops i mean Apartment Life,
that stupid housekeeper or whoever comes in at totally random times to "check" on you or whatever
even when your sims are in bed, sleeping or doing something else!
Also this thing that has been annoying me for a very very long time now...
The face they make when they smile, i mean really, do your eyebrows go up to your friggin hairline when you smile?
I really doubt that...
Oh yea and all the infants look identical, even though they are cute
but as someone already said when they turn into toddlers a lot of them are just plain horrible to look at!
