Thanks, I'll try this.  I'll see if this works and doesn't mess up my game again.  If  it does mess it up again...no worries.  I just noticed I still have all my important sims in bodyshop.  Thanks so much! =)

Edit: I'd tried all the stuff about the CC in your tutorial already...that's why I reinstalled, but thank for the neighborhood help. ^^

Oh, I have a question about this too.  But to Charlotte:  Just replace your new The Sims 2 folder with your old one. =)

But anyway, my game was screwed up and not showing content, I tried everything that was suggested many times, so I backed up and reinstalled.  No it'll show content, but only if I don't replace the WHOLE new folder.  My question is...how do I get my families back in the game without replacing the whole folder?  I only really have two families that I need...

I have 'Catalogs Show Custom Content' on, and I've always used the clean installer. =/

I have this problem where custom hair, clothes, skins, makeup, etc. won't show up. Now, my premade sims with custom content are the same as they always were and can change into clothes already bought, but I can't get the custom stuff to show up to buy or to change their appearance with.
I tried restarting the game several times, because that usually makes objects show up.
The custom stuff won't even show up in CAS.

The only hacks I have are the FT ones:
nohumble
SW-Employees-Make-Pottery-Dammit
SW-Model-Trains-Dont-Burst-Into-Flames
SW-Predestined-Hobby-Adjuster
SW-Stop-All-Hobby-Related-Idle-Gestures

And I don't have any careers or objects (I even removed the Official Maxis custom ones). Help?
