I was the same, think RL got busy around 2013, and I wasn't playing or on the forums for a good few yrs. I did one or two grand re-entrances but then faded off again. Got back playing (TS4-I despised it when it was released, but it grew on me). I started playing last Xmas after plenty of EPs, GP's and CC had been added

I've been back playing the game for around 6 months now and I've started doing some recolours again. This time for The Sims 4. The game grew on me, but as usual, the Maxis stuff is rubbish, so I made some of my own recolours.

I've been playing around with S4S to see if I can redo some of my TS2 nurseries and kids rooms as I'm really not liking the bleurgh that came with the game. So, I've recoloured Pilar's Berlingot Bedroom with the Sports Fan and I've started the Bright Farm, but only done wallpaper and toddler beds so far. Just wanted to get some feedback.

Been away for another wee while, the baby is now nearly 6 (how did that happen   ), we've moved house as we were bursting out of my wee terraced house so now we're settled and had our first Christmas in our new place, I noticed all Sims4 games were on sale...………

So, I bought them all and downloaded them to my work laptop and became yet again, addicted to pixel people! I downloaded 10GB of CC in the space of 7 weeks so I used my annual bonus to buy myself a sparkly new Alienware laptop. I chose a laptop instead of desktop as I quite like that I can still sit n the living room with the family and play and chat etc at the same time. I've always wanted an Alienware (remember getting them in The Sims 2 haha) and I get to change the lights in the keys to pink!

ANyway, I'm wanting to convert all my Sims2 nurseries and beddings into TS4. I miss my stuff. I'm finally enjoying TS4, but I miss all my CC. Doesn't seem to be as many objects but a lot of clothes, hair and makeup. So I'm going to get to it ASAP

So hello to you oldies that have been here since day dot and another hello to all you young 'uns that are loving the pixel people too

My nephew has FINALLY gotten into the game after me pestering him for 15years and I'll be pointing him and his girlfriend this way too  

Is it right that there's not going to be CAST in TS4? We'll be going back to loads of copies of the same objects with different colours in our files. I just hope there'll still be some of the lovely talented folk around to make CC.
 I'm looking forward to the new CAS though, I might actually be able to make pretty sims this time around

And for yet another dramatic Ta-dah! I'm back. again.

My bubs came early-11 weeks early-on the summer Solstice in 2013. So needless to say, I've not been around at all as previously promised. Lots and lots to catch up on!

So here's Skylar Summer Faith (Summer as she was born on the solstice, Faith because whenever I watched an episode of Buffy-she'd kick, but hubbie vetoed Buffy as well us having faith in the doctors and nurses in NICU). She spent 77 days in NICU and came home 4 days after her due date in September. On the left at 9hrs old, on the right at 9m old 



Hope to catch up with it all soon-before TS4 makes an appearance! 

It gets even more dramatic-she came 11 weeks early-she's almost 1 (next Saturday). I get my evenings though for Sims!

I know what you mean Paden, my Mum will have been gone 7yrs this May. I think its takes yrs to be able to handle it better.  I live 300 miles away from where I grew up, where my family still is, so although I've obviously not forgotten she's gone (or my Dad), its easier to think that they're still there. Its only been a couple of yrs since we sold the house we grew up in as neither me or my sister wanted to live in it, but it was hard letting someone else live in it. Luckily, it went to a young family, much the same as when we moved in it in 1979 when I was 4

I have a life changing event. After 12yrs of heartache, we finally got our wish and at the grand old age of 38, I'm having my 1st baby, I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and its been part of the reason I've not been around for a long time and making sporadic appearances. My hubby was away in the US working for a few months then in Poland, so although I was on my own with time on my hands, I wasn't in the mood to play TS2 or 3. I have had to use up all my annual leave at work (35 days) between now and August when I go off on Maternity leave for a year, so I have plenty of time on my hands to play the game so I'm hoping to be around so much more and creating for TS2, although I'm kinda getting the hang of 3 now (I vetoed it until Seasons was released haha!)

Its nice to see some of the older crowd and looking fwd to chatting to some of the newer peeps too.
