I know this is probaby a rookie question, but is there any way to rename a lot, other than kicking the family out of the house, sendind the lot to the box a reasign it?
I've recently downloaded the mini lots because I was running out of room in my neighbourhood, and now I can squeeze lots between pre-existing ones.
The problem is that now the street numbers lost their order. It's just a detail but it's really annoying and I don't want to remove every single family and replace the lost.

But normally what causes problems are hacks...
I have insimenator and inteen, could that be the problem?
When I start a new family in a new lot it runs all OFB functions, it just doesn't recognise the CC, if it was due to hacks it would malfunction anyway, right?
Maybe my pc's not enough to handle the EP and CC.

I've been playing sims 2 on and off for a couple of years and I've just purchased OFB.
I've got 1.31 gbs of custom content, after installing either it won't show up (i can see the meshes glowing blue where the object should be and CC for sims is replaced with default) or when it does the game menu disappears. I can still control my sims with the mouse but that's it.
Besides any pre-existing lot blocks the OFB purchase commercial lot option from computers and telephone.
I've got the enable custom content on and all the CC is compatible with nightlife and university.
Does anyone know a reason for this to be happening? I've already tried what's suggested in http://nene.modthesims2.com/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:GCCTSU3 but it doesn't work.

Sorry for not answering your question qtpie3552, but I was without internet for a while. Personally Uni's one of my favorite expansions I don't know what I would do without it. Have a nice game.

I ended up using insimenator, but next time I'll do it your way miros1. I don't like using these sort of "cheats" when I can find another solution.

I've opened a previous version (before insimenator) and found the graves missing as well.

I've designed a graveyard for pleasantview an had there several tombs, but when I sent one of my sims to place a new one, all the tombs were gone the only thing left were the flowers I'd place in front.
I didn't save the changes in the lot and in the view you have from surrounding houses you can still see them. I have insimenator and ressurected 2 people with it. Could that be the cause for the vanishing tombs?

beosboxboy can you place a link please? I've been looking for BB, HBB and Slim BB meshes for the maxis default careers and been unable to find them. I couldn´t find them in GaySimsClub2 either.

I've recently downloaded several custom sims all of them with their specific skintones and eye colors. I tend to modify all sims before adding them to my neighborhood and try different things. I soon discovered that some skintones and eye colours were either too similar or look weird when used in other sims, and choose to erase some of them, but I was wondering if there is a tool that tells me which ones are active in my sims characters so i can erase any unused ones.

I tend to send someone from the lot to buy all the gadgets place on the floor and then use the "backpack" icon to place them in their inventory. It should work

Thx for the links, but I'm not sure restoring the family's an option since I moved them to a smaller lot (they didn't need all those bedrooms anymore). There's no way ingame for me to invite them to other lots?
