2  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Apartment Life Chat / Apartment Life- EP 8? on: June 04, 2008, 11:01:55 am
I'll buy it too...  of course.... yes.... off curse...  on cruise... uhm...:tard:
...because i bought the whole other bunch too, yes     (except x-mas and H&M, these were borrowed)
and if i'd refuse purchasing it, my wife will force me to.(ouch).

In fact the first impression seems nice to me, i'm looking forward to the magicians, they will complete nice mystical neighbourhoods.... with elves and werewolfs and plantsims and vampires and ghosts.... over oll the years piece by piece, why on earth, didn't maxis launch a large mystic-ep in 2006 !?

Finally all those questions lead to nowhere, so why even ask, there seems to be no way out at all, personally i must have been caught from the very first release (sigh)....
3  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What is the size of your 'Downloads' Folder ? on: May 26, 2008, 02:51:47 pm
Estimated 4,8 GB alltogether in different NH, the largest has 1,6 and all are still rising. My old comp(1.8/512) needed 20 min to load :sleepy2:, but i got a new one too...Cheesy

You took the words right out of my mouth!
I wonder what kind of preparation or trendspotting EAxis does before working on EPs (uhmmm...reading sims-related forums? No, no, too simple....must be Tarot-cards or the flight of the swallows), as far as i can see, with my limited knowledge, there could be made lots of money with a rated 16 or 18 version, that provides adult behaviour (where teens can woohoo from the beginning without mod, for example, like they do all over the world -sigh- ),
and with themed EPs too, that contain consequent and concludent overrides for in-game-structure (cars, schoolbus, service, etc.).
That could be SciFi (i do miss the teleporterstairs of Sims1), Western, Medieval, Victorian, the 50s, those i'd buy all.
Or other themes i noticed recently, like sufficient farming (a real deal petEP) or hospital. But obviously EA wants to keep it rated 0. They are not keeping customers happy that way, at least not for long. Instead they (indirectly) make the customers do, what should be their job, and i bet, they're complaining about so much mods and hacks circulating, in addition.
Absurd, isn't it?
