I don't think illnesses should be in the base game but as maybe an EP or something as some people might not want it. I mean how fun is it for someone with heart failure to play a game and see your favorite Sim die from the exact same thing? The Sims is a way of getting out of reality. But I also think that it would be a cool way of making the game more realistic for people who actually want the game to be a pure life simulator (without witches and magic). And the creators of maxis would probably give it a funnier name like instead of STD's they would call it "woohoo sickness" just like PageCaek said in an earlier post. If they wouldn't be able to put anything realistic in it they would have to remove the flu, electrocution, drowning etc.
But, Feisty32, I totally respect your opinion and I hope you’ll respect mine too. We all got to have our own opinions

My username is my own name since I'm not creative enough to come up with a cool username. My avatar is Garfield; he and I have a lot in common. We both love lasagna and hate Mondays. "I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong" is also a lot like me. I don't like to admit that I'm wrong and it's one of my biggest flaws.

When I was doing my military training we had to stand by our beds while they were inspecting them, the lockers and the areas we had been assigned to clean. All the groups had their own rooms and in every group there were 10 people and in my platoon we were 4 groups. We stood in our room waiting for one of the officers to come and inspect our room. The walls weren’t very thick and if you talked too loud you could hear it from the corridor. I stood there by my bed and I really needed to go and pee. After a while I said “Oh come on what’s taking so long?” and it came out a bit louder than I had expected and 2 seconds later we heard a loud banging on the door and our captain came in. The one that were the leader of my group commanded us to stand at attention while the captain inspected the room. The captain came over to me and started to inspect my bed and locker and I tried to pretend like nothing had happened while the others in my group tried their best not to burst out laughing.
The captain said that my bed looked like a mess and told me to fix it even though it was nothing wrong with it. When he left we all started laughing and I kept my mouth shut for the rest of my military training. Probably doesn't sound fun but if you'd been there and knew how our captain where as a person you'd understand. He was a guy who you got scared off if he started to smile.

A Swedish song called "Leende guldbruna ögon". It's a song about someone who falls in love with a person with golden brown eyes. It was playing at a festival where we met and we danced too it. I love listening to it because it reminds me so much about him (he’s got brown eyes). We want it to be played the day we get married.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend on houses?

I wish I had the patience to build a really big cool house that would take weeks to build. But unfortunately I either take a pre-made maxis home and build a few extra rooms or I build a house that looks like a box. If I try to patiently build a cool house it ends up looking really crappy because in the end my patience is gone and I rush it.
