1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Eye bags of dooom! on: July 16, 2009, 05:47:22 pm
I still haven't figured it out. I thought maybe some hack or possibly my face templates were messing something up but I tried taking those out and nothing changed.

This is litterally EVERY result of breeding in CAS - different combinations of face templates, downloaed sims (who according to pictures make pretty babies) and so on. As far as bredding during game play, I'm not sure yet.

Any more suggestions?

So, there was already a topic:

That is exactly what's happening to me. Even when I breed one sim with their opposite gender clone that happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for the tip, but I've tried that four times now... I don't think that's it. Something I just noticed though... Objects in buy/build mode show up fine. In CAS, however... only my default replacements show.

I just copied all the custom content from my old computer onto this one... and when I ran the game, none of it showed up. I have the custom content enabled, obviously... and tried loading it without all the hacks/mods I have... still no luck. Does anybody have any suggestions? I figured I could just transfer them over and be happy! I don't have Seasons on this computer, but did have it on the other. Even though AL is the latest expansion and I do have that on both... So all the files should the the same format or whatever, correct? I don't know.

Wow, that was more than helpful. Definitely the best answer I've ever gotten on this site! Thank you!

I was going to install something the other day but before doing so I figured I'd read through the instructions, see how complicated it was and decide weather or not I could potentially f*** something up ('cause I'm cautious like that). So, I was following through the intructions and stumbled upon this "userStartup" file in the Config folder. I opened it and saw "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false". I figured Hey, maybe I could change FALSE to TRUE and have that cheat code always active! OH my god! Is that what this is for!?!? Can I put all my favorite cheats codes in here? I mean, what with the name and all.. it sounds like I might be right..? Does anybody know?
