I would unistall everythin but the basic game..you can always reinstall laters

My advice for what its worth to ya is to put all you Sims 2 content on dvds, erase custom contents of Sim 2, see if that works

  ahhhh  Hello everyone!  I am new to this sim site. I see this forum about yaoi and Im excited, wow wow  do I love yaoi.  Nice couples on here.  I have 4 guys who live together and are having fun making yaoi movies. One of them (and Im not sure how that happened)  has such a HUGE appendage    that he is in much demand on the set....lol.....so I will work on putting up their pics on here.
