Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: Momma-Lisa Showerproof Skintones FOUND

If you've got a lot of mismatched outfits and icons, you might want to delete your Thumbnails folder and allow the game to regenerate them.
Yes that is good advice. I had not done it in awhile. I was "cleverly" using some old thumbnails in the game to compare with some new defaults...trying to decide which I preferred. And of course forgot to delete the folder when I put in the Momma Lisa stuff. Unfortunately it is not the dumbest mistake I have made...

It's not in there. This mesh_011 seems to be pretty hard to find.
Thanks for all the others! It is really nice of you to share them.
EDIT - omg I am such an idiot! The mesh IS in there somewhere...but it is not called mesh 11. And I didn't see it because the thumbnail in CAS was showing a different custom outfit I have. I didn't think to click on everything to double check!! My big ol' mistake. So thank you AGAIN!! Yay!!

Fantastic! Thank you so much! I am hoping the body shape meshes are included with the showerproof skintone? It seems like sometimes they are, but sometimes they are not. Not sure how all that works, but I will download and give it a try. Thank you thank you. edit- oh, I just saw the file with the meshes. For some reason the other pages didn't load until after I downloaded something. Thanks again!!

Genius! It is done, and was by far the easiest thing I've done in either bodyshop or simpe!! Thank you so much for the great help!
(I had to open simpe to change the DNA of my existing sim - but I've done that before, so it was simple)

Wow - great help everyone, thank you!
That link with the discussion of the tutorial problem is EXACTLY where I ran into trouble, too. So that might be a fix for me. Also, the body shop idea sounds easy. I have never done anything like it...so I might stumble around, but at least it doesn't sound like I will mess up anything even if I do it wrong. So I am going to try that first.
Thank you, thank you, one and all!

Simmers' Paradise / Skintones / Need help making a skintone showerproof
|

I downloaded a sim from another site with a slim bb body shape. He has a really pretty tattooed skintone, but it is not showerproof. I've had him in my game for about a month now, but the floating head thing is making me crazy.
I can't get any response from the creator...so I tried using Marvine's tutorial to make it showerproof and just can't seem to follow it. I am rather incompetent with Simpe, and something always goes wrong about halfway through the tutorial and I can't find any of the right files.
I am hoping there might be a newer tutorial somewhere, or something that might help explain the steps so I can figure out where I go wrong.
Or is it possible for someone to make it showerproof for me? It is only for my personal use, but obviously I don't have permission from the creator, as I can't get a response from them...so I am probably out of luck on that front.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, sorry - that was a stupid example to use. I've been looking for hacks to transform and/or kill children and younger via vampires...I guess I have it on the brain. I'm not really super violent or anything, it's just that I like my vampires evil...otherwise what's the point?

Sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear in describing what I'm looking for.
I am not trying to create a new sim - I am looking for a device to randomly select from the sims currently in the game. For example, I would like a device I can use to randomly select one of my playable female teens to be the slayer. And then I'd like to use the device to randomly select one of the townies for my head vampire to kill. And then I'd like to use the device to select one of my playable children for my vamp to turn into a vampire...etc.
Hope that makes sense. And thanks for the reply!

Simmers' Paradise / Mods & Careers / Random Sim Selector

I am hoping someone can make (or maybe know of something that already exists?) a Random Sim Selector.
In my head, I am thinking of something like TwoJeffs "Find a Date Crystal Ball" - but instead of giving you 5 options, it gives only one. And instead of being based on chemistry, it is completely random. I also like all the choices on the crystal ball - you can choose male or female or both, any age (I think baby and toddler would need to be added), and whether you want to include townies, NPCs, or playables in the selection process.
I think something like this would come in handy in many game scenarios. The one I am currently trying to deal with is choosing a vampire slayer, and who my main vampire is going to kill, transform, and drink blood from. I just hope it is not impossible or difficult to do....
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!
