Simmers' Paradise / Content Creation & Recoloring Help / Can you build or edit meshes with Maya?
|
on: August 22, 2010, 01:07:58 am

I have Autodesk Maya and it is an amazing program, a LOT more so than Milkshape. But I was just wondering if you can do meshes in maya as well. You can have obj's in maya and milkshape as well, so I figured it would be ok to pass them back and forth. If you can, is there a tutorial link anyone knows of? Thanks in advance!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / I am really curious about this website...

OK, I have no idea why I'm asking this, but I am just dying of curiousity... http://www.mtsims-cakestore.com/I really like these lipsticks that they made. Really nice quality This kimono looks good too They have good stuff, especially the make-up. But what I need to know, is why they call it "cake store"? I don't see any wedding cakes to add to a sims wedding, or perhaps another birthday cake would be nice to add to buy mode to celebrate a birthday in sims 2. I mean, I don't care if they don't have those things for download, I just want to know why they call it a cake store! They're making me hungry! So does anybody know WHY on earth they call it a "cake" store? In what way does it involve a slice of cake? It's mostly Bodyshop stuff. Now because of them, I'm getting a damn sweet tooth!! I would visit their forum to ask them why, but there very little english to understand all the chinese. So has anybody else ever been to this sims website?

I'm so glad everybody still Likes Sims 2!! And XPTL297, you are so right on about the "disappearing into a fake building!". That's bull, I like being able to have my sims sit down and eat, plus, sims build relationships that way, and I needed an "eating scene" for my story. While we are on the subject of eating the food has much better looking quality in sims 2! Especially with the food that http://exnemsims.com/ created. Have you seen the cheese and crackers in the Sims 3? They pick up the whole set of cheese and crackers while eating it! What the heck!?

I couldn't seem to find a poll on which was more popular. I like Sims 2 better than sims 3. But I need to know if there are still some Sims 2 fans out there so I know to keeping making more Sims 2 creations! i LOVE Sims 2!! Sims 3 is alright, but that didn't stray me away from sims 2, NOT A CHANCE will I give up Sims 2! NEVER!

Could make an invisible recolor of the game toilet and place that over the custom object. Probably a lot faster and easier to accomplish.
Do you have the "Hula & More mod? That has an animation for throwing up on the ground.

Thank you so much for sticking up for me, Caffeinated joy! I appreciate it! why invite us to a paysite Please don't start any paysite/freesite debates. You're welcome to avoid them, but don't flame other people for visiting them. It won't be tolerated here. Besides, you'd best get your facts straight before throwing accusations. A paysite is one where you are required to give money to get a download. The link in Sparklesim's signature isn't a paysite. You can donate if you like, but the downloads are free. In any case, Paysite vs. Free debates are expressly forbidden here. Consider this a warning, ok?

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Boy / Loose T-shirts for Little Boys!
|
on: October 29, 2008, 02:15:57 am

I totally thought it was a clever idea when people would create the top seperates of the loose, plain T-shirts for teen and adult males. I figured you'd like it if someone made them for kids, too, well, because I think the Maxis ones are lame. Who wants to tuck in their shirt all the time? So here are some casual T-shirt top seperates for boys. Enjoy! COLORS: Red, Black, White, grey, Blue & burgundyYou have my full permission to recolor this mesh as you like. Just please link it back to this post. Thank you! ~~FRONT VIEW~~ ~~ BACK VIEW ~~
