Green Field

Hello everyone, here is another house from my game.
I named it Green Field, couldn't think of anything better. :lol:
This one is based on some floor plans I found on the internet.



No special building techniques are used on this lot, so you can change it anyway you like.
There is a enough space behind the house, to build more fun things for your sims.

This lot was build with Sims 2, UNI, NL, OFB, FFS, GLS, HHS installed.
Only maxis content is used on this lot.
One extra file is included, the Maxis Skyline Topiary.
Files are made hack / mod free.

Hello everyone, here is another house that I created for my sims.
Have named it Tokyo Gardens, I hope you enjoy it.
Before I had downloaded some Japanese style house, but I found I couldn’t change any rooms.
This house was a test to see if I could build a house with a Japanese style roof.
But I wanted to be able to add or remove walls on the ground level.
To make this possible I added another floor and compressed it.  

So with this house you can add walls and remove walls on the ground floor.
If you change the first floor then the roof will become distorted.

Lot size is 4x5
Price 81.000
The lot is party furnished.

Custom content is one floor to match the roof color.  
And a custom roof color, they do not overwrite maxis defaults.

Filenames are floor_4fb4abc5.package for the floor and
AVENIDAroof004.package for the roof.

Everything else is maxis content.
I have Glamour EP and all previous EP’s installed.
So I don’t know if some items will be missing when you install the lot.

Like Squinge said you have to use the package lots in the game.

If you want to restore thier relations you can do that later in SimPE.
I did it and joined families of all three default hoods together in a new one.
Wrote down the relations of all sims, like family and good friends, then packaged the lot.
Then used SimPE to restore thier relations in the new hood.

Was a lot of work, but for me well worth it, and had no problems so far.

Gusguns, you could also use a screen shot program.
Myself I use ScreenHunter 5, from Wisdom soft, they have a free version.
This program stores the images in a much higher resolution.
It uses the same resolution as the game is played in.

You can have them stored in the folder you want, with the name you want.
Makes it easy to find them.

The program will automatic name the next files, and you can also incluse date and time in the name.
You can set any key you want to use to take screenshots, default is the 'Print Screen' key.

You run screenhunter then start the Sims 2, everytime you want a shot hit 'Print Screen'.  
So far I have not seen any performace loss in the sims 2 while using this program.

You would be surprised how close he is to being an idiot in my game.
When he's cooking he always leaves the kitchen, I think he had around 20 fires in his kitchen.
Has only 3 friends out of the 50+ people on his list.
Always get picked on by the grumpy sims on the community lots.
Get his trashcan kicked over almost every night.

One day he got home from work with his car, when the gardener just crossed the road.
He hit the brakes hard and came to a stop at the end of the road.
He just sat there in the car, honking his car horn, for hours.
I had to leave the lot without saving, then reload, and the same thing happened.
Lucky I saved the lot just before he got home.
Used Insimenator to select the gardener and teleported him behind the house.

Yep he's close to being an Idiot, I should call him 'Guust Flater' roflamo.

Hi everyone, I felt it was time I uploaded my selfsim here.
Based on some 10 year old pictures.

Everything is default maxis.
Do with him what ever you like.

hmmm 2008 or 2009 could be right.
Don't really know though. lol

But I do know computers will be more powerfull then and knowing EA they will milk the Sims for every $$.
So I think they will come with an Sims 3, and you will need windows vista, DX10 and much more Ram to run it.
I guess they will boost the graphics and make it even more realistic looking.

Unless a lot of people loose interrest in the Sims, there will be a Sims 3.

Hi everyone, here are some of my idea’s I have that I think should be added.
After playing the Sims for a while I think maxis should focus more on social action in the family.
Here I have some suggestions that would make the game more fun.

Talk about the kids: The parents could sit and talk about one or all their children.

Talk in bed:  They just lie down under the sheets and talk to each other.

Give a sim a breakfast in bed:
Both Sims sleep, you wake up one sim and click on the 'give Breakfast in bed', option on the bed.
That sim goes to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast, and then brings it to his/her partner.
Wakes up the other sim, then they both have a nice breakfast in bed.

Romantic dinner at home or on a community lot.
At home you click on the fridge or stove an select ‘prepare romantic dinner for...’
the sim prepares the table, puts candles and flowers on the table then starts to cook.
After dinner is set he/she gets the other sim and they have a romantic dinner.

Support another sim:
I always wondered why this was lacking in the game lol.
When a sim dies, other from the family get very upset and sad.
I think it should be possible for another sim to give support to that sim.
Family Sims should be able to hold each other and while crying and give each other
support.

Sims should also be able to make an urgent call to a close friend.
The friend should come and hug and support the sim with his/her loss.
They could add wants for this, so when a sim is sad they should show up.
A want for getting support and comfort and one for giving support and comfort.

I’m also thinking about sim kids and teens with bad grades,
they should be getting comfort or support from their parents.
Like the parent or friend walks to the sim and talks to that sim about their bad grades.
This could also be done for sims that lost their job.

As last I wanted to suggest that all sims age kid and up,
should be aware when a sim in their household is pregnant.
Then it should be possible for a sim to prepare food for pregnant sim.
Sims should be able to talk to the pregnant sim about the baby or congratulate the sims with their pregnancy.


Just a view of my idea's that I think would make the Sims more fun to play.
Pffff this got longer then I thought lol.
