The ati2dvag thing is very much a graphics card issue. Moreover, one that hasn't been addressed by either ATI or Microsoft (and thus, no cure for it -- believe me, I've looked). I know what you are seeing, I have had a very similar problem, but my card was old (3 years is old! ). I agree with Magicflute; you must have downloaded something female-related that in return causes your driver to kill itself. If not... what card do you have, and how old is it?

I always delete the cache files before starting either games, and it does work...for the very first night. Then, after the second, the lag comes back. It might be because my 2GB of RAM is not enough, but frankly I have spent enough money on the video card, so until it is absolutely necessary to update, I will deal with the lag.
Just to compare, how many RAM do you guys have (both those who don't and do experience the lag)?

Nvidia released a driver update around the middle of June. Install that update. It helped clear up a couple of issues I was having with the game.
No, that does not seem to work. I have a (brand new) GeForce 9600GT with freshly updated drivers (and temperatures monitored, so overheating is not an issue either). I'm guessing this has to do something with the game's coding, since it only freezes between 1AM-3AM. Which is simply weird. Any further suggestions? ETA: Apparently, it is triggered by the Awesome mode itself: read here. Until Pescado somehow fixes it, I'd much rather deal with the lags than with EA's stupidity.

adreyn, I don't know about the beach scenery, but I have the Atmosphere one, and I love it! It offers plenty of options for backdrops, excellent for creating various atmospheres in photos. I've recently used it in some pics, so I've uploaded to show you how awesome it truly is :blob6:

I don't know when I will get it, but it will be quite a few months from now. Meanwhile, I wait for the hacks to update and look for feedback! I'm really curious about the bug reports, though I have a feeling it is well-made, like Seasons was. Hope Pets & BV craps are excluded in this one. I've been searching for that kind of hair for quite a long time now, so when I will get the EP, it will get seriously abused! I also love the hats, and the helmets are surely a good addition. But that clown thing?! Urgh... And the guys' outfits... Is that effing all?!! What, EA members don't have varied wardrobes or WTF?... Le sigh. *Resumes waiting for further feedback*

Or... uh, dunno *is noob with all these on-line shopping* Anyway, I know I will die until I will be actually able to buy it... I'm longing after it very-very much but I'm short on money and I also need a new computer for it... *sigh*
