I know you can fish in Seasons because I have it, BUT I was having so many problems with it I had to uninstall it.
I asked about BV perviously and decided not to get it but now I'm thinking about it again, because I love the idea of a beach house!

So can you fish on/in the beach? Or would that require seasons?

And just for kicks what else can you do in BV other than "vacation" (which with the paycheck sims get...like they really can afford it :smt120 )

I’m thinking about downloading Bon Voyage (online, here, http://eastore.ea.com/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayPage&Env=BASE&Locale=en_US&SiteID=ea&id=ProductDetailsPage&productID=77038100&sourceid=smep06 ) , but I was just wondering if I can burn it to a disc, that way I can install it later on? I mean it seems like I would have too since you need a disc to start the game, but I’m not sure if the download would make you?

Has anybody downloaded it? Had any problems?

I’ve been reading the forum about Bon Voyage and some people hate it while others like it, I’m really just concerned about bugs, should I stay away?

Seasons will not start at all. When I put the CD in the Sims 2 white screen pops up and then goes away with a “Microsoft needs to close this program” error. I literally was just playing this game yesterday with no problems so I have no idea why it just decided to quit on me.
I don’t have any custom content.
What happened?

I've had this game for years and this is the first time this has happened but my game just froze out of no where. My sims won't move and the time stand stills but I can still click on things it just won't do anything. What's up with this? I have univ,open,night, and seasons installed.

Another question sometimes my sim will be fishing when i make her go do something else and she takes the fishing pole with her and just carries it around lol i have to click on build mode and then back to live mode for it to go away. It's just kind of annoying how can I make that go away?

Now for the Patch Question...
I know this might be obvious to others but I'm on my slow pills today so help me out.
I recently cleaned up my computer and had to reinstall the game and all the expansion packs but I never downloaded any of the patches that come with them. I'm downloading the Seasons Patch right now but do I need to download each expansion pack patch to accommodate their bugs? Or will just the latest version be sufficient?

Ok so you know how with the Sim Modder thing from the BoolProp > Spawn cheat you can change the relationship status' of your sims...
Well I use it to makes friends so I can get an advance for work but when I just want them to "Like" each other they fall in love. This did it to me a while back but eventually it went back to normal. I've recently re-installed the game so its back to screwing up. Has it always been like this or is something conflicting it?

I've been wondering about this for the longest time and I feel so dumb but seriously, where are the robots located in Open For Business??
I can't find them! I have no idea if you're suppose to create them, do you buy them?? How do you get a robot??

I have NL, University, OFB, and Pets and after Open for business I started to notice the gameplay getting slower obviously because of the EP's. So I was hesitant to get Pets because I really don't care for the pets part but I love the little upgrades you get with it so thats why I got it. To my disappointment it wasn't much.

So now apart of me wants to get Seasons but I'm just afraid it's going to be so slow! I know my computer memory and stuff has to do with it also but I don't plan on upgrading that at the moment. I just picture it to start snowing or whatever it does and the game just dies on me lol
I love getting the EP's when they come out but after Pets I'm not too happy with spending $30+ on not getting that much of a difference.

So I guess my questions are
Does the game slow down a lot more? (I expect it too a little bit but is it more than my already overloaded computer can handle?)
Is there any more to offer?? (The changing of seasons is cute, but what else does it do?)
I read the details on Sims2.com and it seems like there is but then they often highlight the mains things then say something like "75+ new things" and I always think thats a lie lol
