I've never made a self-Sim before, so thought I'd try it n__n; It's not exact, because short of making my own skin, my horrible nose is impossible for me to Simmify... which actually may be a good thing XDD; I made the Sim a teen because... I'm short and have no boobs >>;





These shy and rather elusive creatures prefer to lurk in the safety of their nests, by the comforting glow of their laptop screens for extended periods of time. Studies have confirmed that the normally passive Neithans will exhibit aggressive behaviour if their laptops are removed from their possessions. It is still unknown why these creatures are so enamoured of these electronic gadgets. It has been observed that Neithans use them as communication devices with other species, as well as to produce the occassional artwork.



They are rarely seen outside their nests, and only venture out when it is necessary, before scurrying back to their burrows.

On the rare occasion that one should encounter what is believed to be a Neithan, one may identify them with confidence if the following features are present:

- Short. They are almost child-sized in stature.
- A lack of body mass, which emphasises the child-like appearance.
- Glasses; without which Neithans are blind as a bat, although unrelated to that creature.
- A walking stick, used to... walk. They have been heard threatening to use these implements to smack some sense into other creatures or shove them up certain orfices, when the wrath of these small creatures has been aroused.

In some ways, Issy has been a lot more difficult to Simmify than Cae. Despite being created earlier and drawn more, I never really felt like I’d captured her features accurately ><  

Please Note:
If you intend to breed her, I can't guarantee that the kids will turn out good looking, because I moved most of the features quite a bit off the base lines – and so it's likely that Maxis will warp the faces strangely when combining it with another Sim's features.

I have all the expansion packs, but I took out meshes with CleanInstaller, so she should work even with the base game alone.

Like with Cae, Issy was created for a fantasyish setting, but I made a modernised version for Simming. Cae really started off as a supporting character in one of Issy’s background stories. Then he kind of took over >>;

Character Bio:
In many ways, Isilme is the complete opposite of Cae, both in terms of personality and personal history. While also exhibiting the tendency to introversion, Issy is very friendly once approached, and can be quite playful when in the company of her twin brother, Aure. She’s usually rather passive however, unless she sees someone doing something that she feels is wrong – she has few qualms about going up to them and trying to convince them to “do the right thing”.

Isilme was born into a wealthy, somewhat eccentric family – her parents decided to turn the family estate into a bed and breakfast, and she grew up attending peaceful protest rallies in between the deportment classes her more socially conscious aunt insisted on. As the youngest of four children, (and the only girl,) she has led a rather sheltered life, even if she probably isn’t as pampered as some of her peers. Perhaps it is this that has enabled her to maintain a sense of innocence and almost wilful optimism, traits unusual for the young to possess in this fashionably jaundiced age.

Her personal motto is, “Where there is life, there is hope,” and she insists on believing the best of people – whether they want her to or not. She met Cae while they were attending the same boarding school together, and somehow an unlikely friendship sprung up between the anti-social bookworm and the idealistic dreamer. She considers him an honorary older brother of sorts.  

Issy enjoys spending time with her family and small group of friends, reading, horse riding, gardening, and photography. She always carries a camera around with her and can often be found happily snapping away.

My first attempt at this, so hopefully I did it right ^_^;



Basically a refined and recoloured version of the hair I handpainted for my Cae Sim, which was made using the great, free mesh by RaonJena/Raonsims. He's modelling all the hairs in the pictures XD You'll need to download the mesh from the link in order for these recolours to work. You do need to register with the site to download, but it's free to do so.

I've uploaded seperate .rar files for the colours, so you don't have to d/l such a big file if you only want one or two colours, but I'm not sure if the grey stage will work this way. Also, I have all the EPs, but it should work with any version of the game - you could install with CleanInstaller, just in case.



Main differences between my version and the original:

• Shorter bangs
• Completely retextured hair
• White ribbon instead of black
• No gap at the hairline/parting
• Hairs are colour binned
• Grey stage for elders

The hair works for all ages. None of the screenshots have been edited, except for resizing and text addition purposes, so that's how the hair appears in game at high settings.

- I used the hairlines by UdontKnow and Donna@EyeCandy in combination with the hair, to take the screenshots.
- Model can be found here.

Hi there! This is my first post at InSim, though I've been lurking a while n__n; *hopes all goes well* But to the point of this thread.

I've been working on creating a satisfactory Cae Sim for a few months now, basically since I started playing the Sims 2 - Cae being a character of mine from an original story/RP, that I've had for almost three years. I keep tweaking and trying to get him close as possible to my mental image of him, so I must have gone through at least five iterations before the current one.

Since I've spent so long on him, and I think that I've finally gotten reasonably close to what I want, I thought I'd try to share him with others too.




Cae the character was actually created for a fantasyish world setting, but I decided to make a modern version for Simming.

Character Bio:
He's a serious sort, who doesn't smile very much and generally prefers the company of books to humans.



...Unless you have chocolate. Then he goes all "n____n", at least until the sugar wears off.

He's a clean freak and tends to rearrange things and do housework when he's extremely stressed. But never ask him to cook for you, unless you're trying to get food poisoning to avoid work or class, or want your home to burn down.

Despite appearing rather cold, Cae cares deeply for the select few he's close to and is actually rather sentimental. He'd willingly bend over backwards to please them, and often has in the past. His extreme determination is both his strength and his biggest flaw.


On a slightly random note, the blue ends of his hair are natural, in the story he was made for. His mother had blue hair, and he kept his own long in her memory, when he discovered it turned blue when grown past a certain point. Not that he ever told anyone the reason.
