This has probably been asked quite a lot, but i tried the search thing and it came up with nothing, so i'm trying now.

I have a saved neighbourhood from before i had to reinstall sims 2 due to having XP put on from vista, and was wondering if i renamed that folder (like from N004 to N00X) the neighbourhood is and put it back into the neighbourhoods folder would it be harmful to the game at all?

the thing is, when i did save that file i had all EPs up to BV and only 3 SPs installed and now i have all that are available installed, I don't want to bork up my game, but i would love that neighbourhood bback..

Well after a few years of using body shop, It crashes on me.  I've not downloaded anything other than clothes recently, and have taken out my downloads and tried that. but nothing seemed to work.  can anyone help?

I've included screen shots of what i found in the My Documents>EA Games>sims 2 folder, and what it says when bodyshop crashes if that helps.

I hate having babies laying around my sims houses and was wondering if there was another way to age them without the insimenator.  Toddlers i can deal with cause then i know when they need feeding and all that.. would it be safe to age them using simPE?  I only really use simPE to keep track of the freetime hobbies, so i'm unsure :smt120

well yeah, you guessed it, my 2nd attempt, which is a lot better than my 1st...


well, what can i say, only that i think *and hope* she's packaged with the maxi's skin, but i'm not entirely sure.  She's Scorpio, and can be any aspiration.


I think the only mesh you might need is the ShadyLady482's nail mesh found Here if there's anything else missing tell me and I'll find the link :-P

I have a new problem, i loaded sims up on my old computer (we took the other one back) and tried to save my game and it just cut on me, as in the whole computer turned off. I've not downloaded anything in a week, so i don't think its a download problem as it only started yesterday. i tried the deleting the groups.cache & accessories.cache files and it didn't work... lets just say I'm now ready to hurt the next thing to annoy me... any more idea's?

She's looking for a new home, cause my games just not satisfying her any more, if anyone could here she is


she'd love to be in either the athletic or law careers and i think is a populality aspiration, or pleasure... either one will give her a nice life

I've just installed sims 2 on my new laptop and i loaded it up and for some reason the grounds flashing purple and dark purple, I'm not entirely sure whats wrong, and if its a graphic card problem... i have all the EP's but no stuff packs, and my laptops vista if that helps you...  I've included a print screen of what is on so you can get an idea...

I didn't dare go into any houses just in case i borked up my game, and have no CC downloaded as of yet.  If someone knows what to do, Please say something.
