I am sure this has come up but I searched this morning and could not find the answers. I have the basic game and Seasons installed. I was going to expand to a new neighborhood and make some new sims but when I went to place (the top right in the create area) the some of the sims displayed there, former downloads, have grey or black faces and some have white faces with little cryptic signs all over them including some of the hairstyles. Have I done something wrong? Also when I click on some of them a entirely different sim comes up. I know I am a computer idiot so I am reaching out here to try and understand what is going on.

A few days ago my entire "My Docs" sims folder disappeared! Everything including PE, downloads...everything in the Sims2 folder was gone. I've just about got everything back to normal and the game is going ok but...the TV just shows a blue screen everytime my sims try and watch in any neighborhood. Anyone help me with this? I've recopied the movies and broadcast files from EA Games folder but that does not work. Need a TV repairperson!
Also, anyone have any ideas why the entire folder would simply disappear overnight?
