Toshiba Satellite M305-S4848 4GB 800MHz SDRAM 250GB HDD Sims 3 ONLY
Well, my Sim, Emma, had a great pregnancy and I got to choose the traits for the new baby and everything. However, when we got home I noticed that she was holding an invisible Sim in her arms. I saved, thinking it was just one those time where Sims went invisible for a couple of seconds, but it wasn't. I've loaded the game at least ten times by now and every time she's invisible. I've deleted all of the things that I think would cause problems - like the clothing meant for adults that show up in toddlers and make the toddlers look all deformed and whatnot. However, she's still invisible. I tried to move my "packages" folder out of my mods folder also. But when I loaded my game and family, the entire task bar was gone (i.e Sims needs - that whole area, build, buy, house rotation options, EVERYTHING). After that I thought I pressed a button on a keyboard that I didn't mean to press, but I pressed the one that was supposed to bring the task bar back and nothing happened. Recently, I've just put my packages folder back into my mods folder and I can see the task bar. However, the baby is STILL invisible. What should I do!?

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / How do you pick out items that cause your game to crash?
|
on: December 10, 2009, 09:30:36 pm
|
This has happened a couple of times, but it hasn't really bothered me until now. I'm decorating a house and in the miscellaneous section I can only go five or so pages before the game crashes. I know it's an object in the miscellaneous category that's doing it, but I have no idea which item it is. So if there is a way, how can you pick out and delete the item that's causing my game to crash?
All help is appreciated!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Major, major insane lag.

Toshiba Satellite M305-S4848 4GB 800MHz SDRAM 250GB HDD Sims 2 Bon Voyage University Nightlife Open For Business FreeTime Seasons Stuff Pack: Teen Style Stuff
Well, I just installed the OFB, FreeTime, and Seasons expansion packs. And when I go into the game, which takes two whole hours to load might I add, the lag is insane. Neighborhoods take at least 10-15 minutes to load the game itself takes 2 hours to load. And then a family takes at least 20 minutes to load. I don't mind waiting like, 45 minutes for the game itself to load, but two hours?
How can the lag in the game be taken care of? So it doesn't take me an entire two minutes to rotate to the bedroom and tell my Sim to go to sleep. Also, how can I speed up the entire game itself - as in the 2 hour loading for the entire game?
I have the Compressorizer thing and I organize most things in the Download folder into folders. Everything is compressed.
What else can I do?
All answers are appreciated.

Yes, dearies, I know.... another Sims 2 problem with me again. I'm starting to think Sims 2 doesn't like me, which is why I'm saving up for Sims 3.. anyway, on to the actual problem.
Lets say that my sims want to go clubbin' one night and they jump in the car and drive downtown. I get downtown, and then everything comes up. Then it starts to act screwy. As soon as my Sims arrive, and everything load the game either crashes or the sims are moving, but I cannot click on anything. Any idea what might be wrong? All answers are very, very much appreciated!

Yep... another Sims 2 issue with me... Surprising? I think not, lol.
Well, this time around, my Sims 2 game won't load at all. I insert the disc, click on the Sims 2 shortcut thing, and then it comes and I press "play". After that, nothing happens. It acts like it's going to load, like the Sims 2 screen will just pop up at anytime, but it doesn't. Any ideas of what might be wrong? I already organized my download folder with Delphy's awesome wizard. Any ideas what might be wrong? All answers are appreciated!

Simmers' Paradise / Content Creation & Recoloring Help / Do you know how to make a default replacement?
|
on: April 12, 2009, 11:30:32 pm
|
Well, personally, I hate the private school uniforms all together. I already have a default replacement installed for the teen private school uniforms, and they look great! Credit to the amazing alovingdiva of MTS2! I've found a few more uniforms I would like to have as default replacements for the children private school uniforms, but of course they're not a default replacement package thing. So, do any of you know how to go about installing a default replacement? All answers are appreciated!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Sims 2 issue?

Sims 2 University That's it. 4GB laptop Toshiba Runs nicely Uhm well, everything is working pretty good besides the thing that counts the most: going to my families. When I click on the house and press to go in, it takes FOREVER to load. So far, it's been about..hmm... ten minutes. I minimized the screen and checked the task manager. It says that Sims 2 is still responding. So, it's just really weird. I haven't been able to get to any of my families for days. And when I tried to move a person into the house, it took forever then too. And I closed the game. I came back and he was in the house, but I still couldnt get in. The picture of him was like he was sitting indian style, but it didnt look very indian style-ish. Do you have any idea what's wrong? Help, please!
