Its seems this is a common problem,I've read everything I can find.But no real answers on how to fix the problem.I've read through and done the steps here http://www.simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:GCCTSU2.Still nothing.
Yes I have CC on,yes it is installed in C:\Users\user\Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Double Deluxe\Downloads.
I can get clothes,hair,skin....but no objects other then recolors.
Please can someone who has or knows someone with Double Deluxe who has figured this out help,please.

Has anyone else had a issue when you have more then on sim in a house that,the one your not playing will not look after their needs?They just stand there till their bar is yellow or orange.My free will is on,I am wondering if I DL something that is making thme behave this way.
