The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Can't drink nectar

My sim will serve nectar & get a glass. But as soon as she sits down to drink it she jumps back to a standing position and drops the glass on the floor. I have tried this with and without mods, I get the same reaction.
I am running high end loft and the launcher says my game is up to date with version 3.1.7.004001
Can anyone help with this glitch?

I have looked everywhere and cannot find BecksToddler-Puppy-Kitten-StraightStairGlobalMod.
Can someone tell me if it is even still available? And where to get it?
I have all EPs & stuff packs.

I hope this is the right place for this, if not I apologize.
Whenever I use a custom neighborhood, I have a problem with the cell phone. My sims use the cell phone then it disappears from inventory. I have tried emptying the downloads folder and play the game with no cc, but still have same problem. Any suggestions? I have all ep to AL and no stuff packs.

Is there any way to make vehicles so that you have to maintain them or tinker with them? I have seen mods for cars that need money to drive, I was just wanting something that you can work on them too. I got tired of always buying the hobby car and fixing it.
I have all expansions up to apartment life but no stuff packs installed.
