I've heard there's a program that finds conflicting hacks for sims, can anyone help me out with a link?

So I was trying to download  custom content and when I unzipped it, it would say my computer could no identify the file D8
I used winzip and winrar
but I got the same results for quite a few different ones I tried
help anyone?
