I reinstalled The Sims 2, but I can't find my EP1 (Uni) CDs.

So, this is what happens:
- reinstall The Sims 2 basic set (4 CDs)
- reinstall The SIms 2 EP5 (Pets) (1 DVD, requires the basic CD 4)

Now, when the game begins, it tells me that I uninstalled EP1 (Uni), so that if I play the game will obliterate the Universities and force all Young Adults to Adults.

So, I guess either I have to dig where I put my EP1 Uni CD (my house is a mess) or try to find a way to hack the game.

Is there any intelligent alternative solution? The computer HD (in a backup directory) has all the information (except registry data) that I used 6 months ago when I played EP5 (Pets) with EP1 (Uni).

After about half an year without The Sims 2 because Windows XP crashed,
I could reinstall Windows and try to play The Sims 2. I got this error:

  Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system!
  Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter
  and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The
  application will now terminate.

Is there any way to bypass this error, or I must try to figure out how do
to whatever this message is trying to tell me to do?

Last time I tried to fix this error was probably what caused Windows XP
to crash.

PS: I just thought it would be meaningless to start a new thread with the same subject as a previous thread.

Is there any tool that lists _all_ recolors, with picture and filename?

Whenever I want to hack a file using SimPe (for example, changing a recolor that is for adult only to adult or YA, or changing a recolor that is listed as an undie to a sleepwear), I have to _guess_ the filename based on the date I downloaded it, because there's no (AFAIK) way to link the image to the filename.

In case there isn't, which is the package that the game uses to keep this information?
