I like to make some lots haunted and apparently killing sims in sims3 is not as easy as it was in sims2.  Anyone know of any hints, tricks, or hacks to do this? All of my sims tend to die of starvation no matter what if I try to make them die but I'd like other options to get different kinds of ghosts.  I have tried making them drown but not even that worked in my game she just kept getting out of the pool.  Yes it's morbid to kill my sims but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do

I have NO clue what I am doing I have tried reading tutorials but I still just can't get it.  I use PSP6 and I need to re color and texture some things for a contest I need help badly and quickly LOL I have spent the last 5 hours trying to figure this out and now I need to go to bed for work tomorrow , Please someone give me some tips or something

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this problem, but I have a slight pet peeve when it comes to down loading sims, ok a HUGE pet peeve.

You spend all day (well it becomes all day when you're off and on due to a 4 month old and house work) downloading beautiful/handsom sims from sites.  You finally get a chance to go in game and then BAM problem surfaces!

I do what I call the "Toddler Test" I take the sim I've downloaded in either CAS or Bodyshop and shrink them down to a Toddler OR if it's a child I change them to an Adult. Which is where the problem shows up......

You have a beautiful sim that turns into Quazi Modo! Anyone else notice this? Seriously, try it!

So then I have to delete them out after all that time I took to download. Mainly because if they look that fugly as a child/adult then their offspring might be deformed to.  I always check my custom sims when I make them (Especially if I'm uploading them) and it'd be nice if other Simmers did to!

I love that Sims are offered and some of the creations are AMAZING and thank you for that, but dang you should see the way some of them look shrunk down or grown up! I'm not talking about just this site, it's other places to.

Not sure where this would go but I have a question regarding packaged sims.  When you package them there is a section to add a description.  How do you find that description after you download a sim? I wrote some things in a few of mine and now I can't rememeber what I wrote LOL!

I was reading on MTS2 that you can change the location of your my documents folder to make more space on the main hard drive if you have a second hard drive, well I tried it and it didnt work because I  had a frozen folder...now I dont know what to do. I havnt tried playing the sims yet but Ive tried body shop and its not finding my content.  Is there a way to uninstall bodyshop and then reinstall it so it picks up my content or am I screwed? LOL!

My first Sim Uploads! (NEW PICS) I'm proud of theses even though they don't compare to most around here LOL! They are packaged with Maxis clothing and hair.

Shappa (SHAP-PAH) means "Red Thunder" in Sioux.  He loves to fish and work with the Earth. He can't wait to have his own family one day so he can carry on the traditions of his people.

Magaskawee (MAG-AS-KAH-WEE) means "Swain Maiden" in Sioux. Going by Maggie for short, she is more mondernized then her brother. Though she belives in the traditions of her people she also feels you need to grow with the changing world.

I had more screen shots but I guess my folder ate them because only the ones of Shappa are still there. These shots are how they come packaged and one is of Shappa in game.  I wish Maggie's hadn't disappeared because she is really beautiful in game, these shots don't do them justice!

Im not sure who to ask but ive down loaded the pixie skins by Enayla and for some reason they arent showing up in game. I tried running the folder through clean installer and they dont show up there either but they are in my down load folder. Im stumped.

I've sent out a couple of messages asking people and the one reply I got couldn't help me.  I also posted to one of the skin threads. I don't know why they won't show up, if anything maybe someone could package them differently for me and then maybe they'll show up?  I have no idea.

I don't have the grow baby option.  Is this only available at certain times?

ADDENDUM: I have Sims2,NL,OFB,FF,Pets, I have UNI but nothing was used from it.

I call it Sonny's Dream because because I worked on it while getting my two month old daughter asleep...like she is now. It's not much, my first try at making something good.

It has a open floor plan so you can add rooms to your own custom size. The only furnishings are the patio furniture and BBQ station.

It's mostly Maxis made, there are a few CC but I have no idea where it came from, I'll post screen shots of CPI.  If you happen to know where I got something please inform me.

I think my favorite thing about this home is the aquarium view of the pool.  I followed a tutorial from http://www.geocities.jp/invisiblesims2/stairtutorial/aqarium01/index.html   It used the "boolprop constrainfloorelevation false/true" cheat.

Mine isn't perfect but I think it's decent enough.  Anyways on to the screen shot:
