1  Simmers' Paradise / The Shape of Stuff to Come / New Interactions/Animations on: July 17, 2007, 01:42:28 am
Since I got the Sims2 in January, 2005, I have learned to create custom clothing, hair, and eye recolors as well as custom floor, wall, and terrain paint. I got very bored of that soon and decided to start meshing. I did that and made some very basic objects at first, then progressed to animated ones. After playing around with new objects, hair, and clothing, I've decided to go even further and branch out into animating.

I've managed to put some new animations in my game (just testing still and all has gone well so far). So I plan on creating some new interactions, mainly for storytelling and movie making. So look out for some new animations from me in the near future. Smiley
2  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Female Hair / Mid length hair with bangs (binned) on: May 14, 2007, 12:18:13 pm
I recently got back into creating stuff for the game. I've been looking for a hairdo like this but never found so I decided to make it. It's wearable by adults, YA, elders, and teens. Comes in the 4 standard colours (all in their appropriate colour bins). The blonde recolor is included with the mesh files.

This hair has the same bounce and sway that many Maxis hairdos have. Therefore it has a somewhat natural look.

I doubt you will need any EPs for this as the hair was cloned from a base-game hairdo, but I have Seasons and Pets installed, so if it doesn't work in your game (without Seasons or Pets) please let me know in this thread.

You may recolour as you desire, just link back to this thread for the mesh. Smiley
3  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Accessories / Cyprine's Glasses on: January 18, 2007, 09:17:52 pm
This pair of glasses was inspired by those worn by the evil lab character, Cyprine, from episode 123 of Sailor Moon. I thought these looked cool and original so I thought I'd bring them to the game.

They can be worn by adult, young adult, and elder female sims.

Pets may be required (not sure).
4  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Male Hair / Gladiator Helmet on: January 02, 2007, 11:00:29 am
I've been meaning to make one of these for a while so I finally got to it. It works great in the game and can be worn by adults, young adults, and elders. I plan on making a teen version in the near future.
The hair colour is brown but you are free to make any recolours and even include the mesh with them. Just make sure to credit me for it Cheesy
Speaking of credits, I owe some to my buddy Sgoobysnacks29 for providing this mesh for me to put in the game. However, I had to really change and alter the mesh to reduce poly count, add and remove stuff, texture and assign all the vertices to their respective joints.

You must have University (and possibly Pets, not sure) installed for this to show up in your game.
*If you want accompanying attire, be sure to check out Marvine's and Beos Bat Boy's gladiator mesh (assuming it's still on this site).
5  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Accessories / Gold & Silver Earrings for Men on: December 17, 2006, 06:07:17 am
After much searching, I wasn't able to find the kind of earrings I like to see guys wear. So I made a couple sets. I am not sure whether or not you will need Pets (I have it installed) so I will assume yes...just in case. Smiley

Can be worn by: adults, young adults, and elders
Cloned from the set of roundish glasses for the adult male.
Reclourable?: Yes

I just added a silver recolour for each pair. Smiley

7  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / The Scarab High-Speed Cruiser *animated* on: December 05, 2006, 01:30:19 am
I was playing around in 3ds Max and came up with this a while back. Anyway, I recently decided it would look good in the game so after several hours of frustration I ended up getting it to look and work correctly in the game.

I call this car the "Scarab" as Sgoobysnacks29 suggested it looked like a scarab credit goes to him for the name.

All the animations are included and work perfectly. The only issue (not a big issue to me) is when two sims woohoo in it, the fog sticks out of the windshield a little, but not by much. This is by far the most complicated object I've made so far and without any tutorials. I think I did okay Cheesy

Nightlife and Pets are both required in order for the car to show up in your game.

Total Poly Count: 5,695
Recolourable?: Yes
Colour options included?: Yes, several

You may recolour and post at any site but by all means, please link back here for the actual mesh. Smiley
8  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Kitchen Set on: December 22, 2006, 08:02:52 am
I couldn't come up with anything very Christmas like that wasn't already I thought I'd add a kitchen counter set, which was actually an experiment of mine gone well. When placing counters, you'll also be getting cupboards. I plan to make more sets like this in the future.
There are 2 files, the counter and the island. The counter file is the only one needed. If you wish to add the island, you will still need the counter file as the island file borrows its textures from the counter. All doors and drawers are animated and the counters also support the placement of sinks and appliances. They are also CEP enabled.
This object is based off Numenor's counter templates.

The base game is all you should need as Numenor's templates are designed to work with any game configuration.
9  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Roland E-80 (Keyboard) on: November 18, 2006, 07:41:49 pm
I got tired of the same old boring piano so I thought I'd whip up something more in-the-now. Here's the Roland E-80. It's great for university bands. Looks and works great in-game.

Total Poly Count: 298 (quite reasonable)
In-Game Directory: Buy Mode/Hobbies
EPs Needed: University
CEP Enabled?: Yes

If there are any problems with this keyboard appearing in your game, please report back to this thread and list which EPs you have/don't have. Smiley

10  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Chrome Top Gas Grill *Animated* on: November 16, 2006, 05:40:55 pm
I started playing around in my 3D editor and came up with this. It's animated (the top flips up when used) and is CEP enabled. There are 5 colour options for the handle and dials.

Object Stats:

Total Poly Count: 1,832
EPs Required: None
In-Game Directory: Buy Mode/Appliances
Recolourable?: Yes

11  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Starburst Wall Mirror on: November 15, 2006, 04:45:36 am
After many game starts and readjustments, I have come up with this unique mirror. Despite it's complex shape and having been made completely from splines, it's got a relatively low poly count.

Requires: University EP!
Total Poly Count: 940

PS. Yes, that's jameLia's Leon checking himself out Cheesy
12  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Requested: Carmine Giovinazzo (sexiboi recolour) on: November 14, 2006, 09:38:51 am
This was another requested recolour of my sexiboi celeb painting. This one is of Carmine Giovinazzo (I don't know who he is but the requester provided his picture).

Anyway, you'll need my sexiboi picture mesh for this to show up.

13  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Requested: Ryan Carnes (sexiboi picture recolour) on: November 11, 2006, 07:33:33 am
This was requested by a fellow community member. This one being so hot I could not resist fulfilling this request Cheesy

You'll need my sexiboi celeb picture mesh in order for this to show up in your game. Enjoy him like I will Cheesy

14  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Sexi Boi Celeb Picture on: November 09, 2006, 09:59:46 am
***First of all, this wouldn't have been possible without the permission of our very talented jameLia, who made the textures and sims in the shots and granted permission for me to use them on my mesh. Thank you, jameLia!
I created these because I wanted some posters of hot guys that were Sim-real and therefore would look better on Sims' walls.
The default texture on this mesh is Leon. The recolours include: Leon (another shot), Tom Cruise, Tom Welling, Elijah Wood, Brad Pitt, and Justin Timberlake. Each recolour also has its own frame colour option.

Object Stats:
Mesh by: Franky
Canvas Textures by: jameLia
CEP Enabled: Yes
Total Poly Count: 44
In-game directory: Buy Mode/Decorative/Wall Hangings
Tiles: 2
15  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Pet Cave on: November 09, 2006, 12:20:02 am
*Supports Pets functions*
Here's a new home for your pets. It has 4 colour options and a poly count of 720.
You may recolour as long as you link back to this thread and do not post the recolours on any paysite.

Pets EP Required!!!
PS. Just to let y'all know. This object was created before the official release of SimPE for pets. This object was tested and I have not encountered any problems but if any should arise, please let me know in this thread.
