Seeing what looks like a ten year old girl wearing grotesque amounts of makeup and stripper heels disturbs me greatly.

Amen to that. This gives me creepy crawlies all over.

Wow, he's gorgeous! I'm sure I can find a home for him in one of my neighborhoods. Wink

These are adorable. I can't wait to get them in my game!
4  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What I'd like to see in The Sims Franchise on: July 17, 2007, 04:12:02 am
What I'd really like to see is more complicated personalities, and maybe sub aspirations. For example, two types of romance sims: a promiscuous romance aspiration like what we have now, and a true love aspiration where the sim is terrified of affairs, wants to be with one sim their whole life, etc. This could work for knowledge too; you could have a sim who's all about supernatural knowledge, or a sim who's all about book knowledge. I also really want some kind of do-gooder aspiration, where the sim just wants to help people. Not sure how that would work, though.

I also would like to see chemistry being a bigger part of the game and based on more factors, and I'd like to see music tastes vary from one sim or another. (Lilith Pleasant might like metal, but Angela prefers New Age.)  I'd also like more parts of personality; I think that creativity and logic should be personality traits, not skills. So for example, a creative person will have an easier time learning things like playing piano, painting, writing, etc., but all of those are individual skills. Just because a sim can write a great book doesn't mean they can paint! Sims who are inherently logical would have an easier time learning how to fix things, how to play chess, etc., but they'd still have to build those skills.

Basically I just want my sims' brains to be a lot more complicated. Smiley

I cannot wait to get back to my normal computer so that I can put this gorgeous guy in my game. He is incredible!

I just want to see more of the 36 C set. If you could do versions of popular custom meshes or some more Maxis meshes in that size (like the black or the red dress with heels the Caliente sisters wear, the V-neck dress with a crinkle skirt from Nightlife, etc.) I would be very happy.
7  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Do you like to ruin your sims lives? on: September 03, 2006, 05:51:05 pm
My own families? Heavens no! That's what the Maxis made families are for. >) Now, I'm not cruel enough to kill anyone or hardcore torture them, but I *do* like ruining their lives when I get tired of trying to make my own silly sims happy. The Pleasant family is divorced in my game, because Mary Sue got Daniel with about four different women and he finally left her for a college student. (Ouch!) Lillith ran away, but the police brought her back. She and Angela beat each other up almost nonstop. Lillith's grades are still dismal, of course. It's just a nice way to take out a little aggression.

Oh. my. GOSH. I have been LOOKING for sims like this, finally finally! You don't know how excited I am to see a normal, *real* looking man. My neighborhood desperately needs some average joes who don't look like bad genetic experiments. This is fantastic.

Thanks so much for this, I LOVE it. This is my favorite size because it's subtle, not over the top. *sigh* Now I just have to wait for the full body meshes... =P
10  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Your Favorite Sim-killing method on: July 16, 2006, 03:45:54 pm
Haha, you guys are so ruthless! I get way too attached to Sims and I feel bad about killing them. So if I *really* want a sim dead I just wall them up, put it on fast speed, mute the volume and then go do something else so I won't have to watch. It seems so cruel!
11  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Roman Column End Table on: May 06, 2006, 06:35:02 pm
I put this end table in my game, and it looks excellent! You did a wonderful job overall, not to mention a wonderful job for a first mesh.
