My newest EP is Free Time but the instructions said to place the thing inside OFB, Pets or NL folder, so I just picked NL because the downloaded lighting files are named NL. The txt file wasn't "read only" but it still didn't work. I finally managed to safe the txt file by moving it temporarily to the desktop.

I do have the Scriptorium but for some reason this ceiling light package didn't include a .txt file, which you can place inside the scriptorium lights folder. It was the first thing I looked for, because it so easy to use. There was only instructions to do it manually by yourself. I haven't open the game yet to see if the lights work. I hope they do.

Yes, I'm here again with another problem. Okay, so I'm getting my game to work again and I decided to download Jgwhiteus' Colored Ceiling Bulbs from MTS...

...but I'm unable to follow the step two from the installation instructions. After writing the sinclude "JGColorLightNL.nlo" to the Lighting.txt file, I cannot safe the file. I got a message saying: File C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Sims 2 Nightlife\TSData\Res\Lights\Lighting.txt cannot be created. Make sure that the path and the file name are correct.

I think I have done everything right, so why can't I save the altered .txt file? Maybe I'm just being plain stupid.

Well, lots are off the game. I think I'm going to check the CC of those lots with clean installer just in case, even though she seems to use only maxis content in them, except one floor. If she uses only maxis content, I really wonder what this mysterious "part" in them could be and why it can't be seen. Odd. Maybe she uses that boolProp changeFloorElevation cheat a bit too much in her houses and corrupts them that way.

Oh, and the deletion of your feedback... even more odd but then again, nothing new from TSR.

Also, I read that you shouldn't compress any TSR content with the Compressorizer, or you could get problems. Apparently TSR have some type of compressorizer of their own. Not sure if this is true, though.

AxelVal, I agree with you. Too much hair just isn't very nice and especially the bear bodybuilder type... I know many likes it and I can understand and respect that, but personally I just can't see the beauty of it. I do like the SBB with very little hair or no hair at all but more muscles than than that and you won't find it in my game. Yep, smooth is good.

I will be at the ISA, too, but I will definitely stay here as well.

Okay, so here are couple of more pics of Rhade and Julian... all human now. I think they're much better as humans, especially Julian. I'm currently having third world war against my game - as you know - but I managed to get the boys spend a quiet evening at their new home, now that the kids are in the university.

This could be just a weird coincidence but my game have been having random crashing and after I noticed that the creator who's house you donloaded is Laivine_erunyauve, it got me thinking. You see, I have the same creators "The Isla", "The Seabrook" and "Azura Beach Resort" in my game. I deleted them from the LotCatalog just a few minutes ago, just in case. Who knows, maybe they are causing that random crashing.

Hello, everyone! I also love to play Tomb Raider games and when I saw Lara's clothing at the MTS2, I went straight away to ask if I could convert the Tomb Raider Underworld wetsuit made by Dhampir1313. The permission was kindly given and here is the result. The are two files in the RAR -package; one with and one without(file2) the black strap over the chest. The wetsuit looks great ingame and is categorized for swimwear and gymwear. Enjoy!

Thank you. It seems I had read the right topic after all. Okay, I'm gonna check all those things you suggested and go though my clothing files. I think I'm not going to use the organizer anymore, either. Thank you again for nudging me into the right direction.

Well, in game I deleted all the objects I didn't absolutely need. Then with the help of Delphy's organizer I categorized everything into their proper subfolders inside the downloads folder: mesh folder, hair folder, clothes folder, and so on. I didn't delete or add any bodyshop meshes or items, just rearranged them. Could it be possible that this action corrupted some clothing file or more than just one, because I tested the BS again last night and it does work with savedsims folder content + without downloaded custom clothes. I just can't understand why it worked just fine a long time with the current CC and now suddenly decides not to. Maybe the organizer did something it shouldn't have? Maybe I shouldn't have used it.

I have a lot of clothes, some that can't be found anywhere anymore, not even from the graveyard. I'd hate to lose those. I guess the only answer is to start adding clothes back bit by bit?

I read the topic by Danceswithwands but it was not similar to mine - at least I didn't think so - but then again I'm no technical wizard. I apologise if the post you meant is right under my nose and I missed it somehow. I wouldn't have made a new topic if I would have seen it.

Okay, so due to a random crashing I had to do some clean up and re-organising. I had no problems with bodyshop before this task but now the bodyshop crashes. I did not add any bodyshop content after the clean up. I'm adding the error log that appeared - along with with a .mdmp -file - into the Sims 2 folder after the first crash, in case someone can figure out it's content. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I have never used that command, not once through all these years I've had the came. The only cheats I ever use are moveobjects on/off, snapObjectsToGrid true/false, motherlode, allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true/false, changeFloorEveation and changeLotZoning. I haven't felt the need to mess around with testingcheatsenabled or tombstone of life & death, or what ever the latter was called.

I just gave them potion and I guess they were just standing too close to each other but the result was funny.

Yeah, I know that alien kids don't always have the eye or skin colour but having nice facial features are sometimes hard to get.

That one was surprising to me as well. Usually the alien kids have this tiny nose and big eyes, all the alien qualites. Maybe the polination technician had his tubes mixed up or something.


AxelVal... Yes, Blair is their own. He represents the third generation in the Black family and no, there has never been any female involvement when it comes to babies. I'm so happy with this family because of their genes. And they're so unpredictable and funny too, like you can see from the pic. Someone might think that they were positioned with a code or something but that actually happened spontaneously.
