 In the True Blood series, Bill Compton is a Southern gentleman vampire that returns to his family's plantation estate in Bon Temps, LA. Despite its deteriorating state due to long abandonment, Bill hopes to remodel the old structure and call it home once again. The downstairs includes the entry hall, living room, study, kitchen, dining room, servant's quarters and powder room. The upstairs includes the master bedroom and bath, along with three other bedrooms and bathroom. Bill can use the 'invisible' door under the stairs to get to a hidden basement that has been divided into the three rooms. Bill's house is decorated and partially furnished in a style similar to that seen in the TV series. Some recolors could not be packaged with the lot. They are included in a separate folder. Just add these items directly to your Sims2 -> Downloads folder.  In the True Blood series, Sookie inherits her grandmother's home. It's Southern style design is getting a bit worn and in need of some attention. The downstairs includes a large front porch, entry hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, den, bathroom, bedroom and back screened porch. Sookie and Gran's bedrooms are located upstairs along with a bathroom. Gran's House is mostly furnished. To look properly like Gran's you'll want to add more clutter and antiques. The den and downstairs bedroom are unfurnished. In the set pictures you can see that Gran uses the den for a sewing room. However, in order to limit extra content the room has been left empty for you to furnish as you prefer. Also, Gran's doesn't have a driveway, but a dirt circle. Use an 'invisible driveway' if you need a car. Some recolors could not be packaged with the lot. They are included in a separate folder. Just add these items directly to your Sims2 -> Downloads folder.  In the True Blood series, Fangtasia is a popular nightclub/bar where humans can meet and mingle with vampires. Sookie refers to it as a vampire Disneyland because it offers a touristy-goth atmosphere. The building includes the main bar area with a stage complete with Eric's throne, as well as dance platforms for the vampire dancers (You will need to use the 'moveobjects on' cheat to put them on the platforms), a merchandise area and restrooms. The ground floor also has Eric's office, a second Office for Pam and Chow, Dressing Room and Lounge for visiting performers, Kitchen, and Bathroom with shower. The lower floor is the Basement 'Dungeon' along with a 'Crypt' that sleeps four coffins. Some recolors could not be packaged with the lot. They are included in a separate folder. Just add these items directly to your Sims2 -> Downloads folder.  If you're a fan of the show True Blood you'll be familiar with Merlotte's, the popular hang-out for the residents of Bon Temps, Louisiana. What appears to be just a simple, redneck bar in the heart of the deep South lurks an entire world of supernatural creatures. The set from the show has been recreated including Sam Merlotte's (the owner) trailer behind the bar. The bar includes kitchen, rest rooms, owner's office, pool room, and porch; the trailer includes one bedroom, one bath, kitchen and living room. Some recolors could not be packaged with the lot.  Now you can decorate casual dining establishments like fast food restaurants and diners, as well as themed neighborhood restaurants with a more versatile host podium. Taverns, Victorian Tea Houses and Sci-Fi ships and bases can all look like proper restaurants with a host podium that doesn't stand out or look too 21st century. The podium has several invisible options so that you can use the 'moveobjects on' cheat to place the podium within any counter of choice. Create a more integrated look with your restaurant decor. Invisibility options: - Display only the phone in black or neutral color
- Display the book and phone (in black or neutral color)
- Display only the book without the phone
- Completely invisible podium, phone and book
    Decoration Suggestions: - Place the podium on a row of counters and build a door for the business owner to lock. This will prevent visitor Sims from crowding around the podium for the host. They will seem to be standing in front of the register which looks more appropriate for a fast food restaurant. The host will leave the enclosed area to greet and seat the arrivals. (shown in photos)
- Use along with a decorative cash register (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=270768) so that your host looks like they are standing as a cashier. Select to use only the phone 'podium' and place next to the cash register or use the completely invisible podium. (shown in photos)
- Get rid of annoying host phone call animations with Squinge's No Podium Phone Calls (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=9574&highlight=podium) mod. This looks great for the completely invisible podium, especially if you are using it in a themed neighborhood where phones don't exist.
 This podium has all the functionality of the original game podium, shows up in the catalog under General -> Miscellaneous and costs $0. |

Simmers' Paradise / Objects & Recolors / New type of Restaurant Podium for Casual Restaurants

I have some ideas for building some casual restaurants lots like fast food, sandwich shops, diners and cafes. I find the current restaurant podiums in the game to be too formal and don't fit in with these environments. So, I considered to clone the Club Commercial Counter and add the podium functions. This way I can create a row of counters that match the podium with a cash register to make it appear more proper to the type of establishment. However, my only ability is recolors and some basic cloning. I haven't worked with changing/adding behaviors and the podium has a ton of them. My attempt was fail!
My wants for the item are for the Club Commercial Counter (keep counter ability to set things on it and recoloring options from the regular club counter) and add Restaurant Podium functions (would like to remove the host talking on phone animations if possible.)
Any help is appreciated!

 Flixbuster is a business based on the popular DVD rental chain stores. The lot features 36 recolors of Retail Sims EB Game Rack to look like DVD shelves. The movies have been categorized by typical genres such as Action, Drama, Romance, Thriller, etc. While the movie shelves are only decorative items, Sims can still purchase game systems or groceries from the recolored popcorn food bins. The lot also includes a Game Lounge for customers to test games, Employee Break Room, Manager's Office and Restrooms.  This furniture store is designed to sell complete bedroom furniture sets. The mattresses are actually bedding recolors, not meshed objects. These will function with any type of bed frame making them versatile in case you want to change or add custom furniture to the store. There are 8 full size mattress variations of popular mainstream brands. Each mattress brand has a matching advertising poster. 6 of the brands are repeated for twin size beds. The store includes a showroom area, manager's office, employee break room, restrooms, warehouse and delivery truck. Some files and recolors could not be packaged with the lot.  This lot has been designed especially for your Sims that love the outdoors. Nestled between two small mountains, the park offers a cozy campground along with a pond for fishing. Your Sim can live year-round in one of the two recreational vehicles already on the campground. The large, bus-style RV includes a full kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom and bedroom. The travel trailer offers a mini-kitchen and dining area, a bedroom and bathroom. There are also bathroom facilities located at the entrance of the park. While each vehicle only sleeps two Sims, you could increase this number by putting bunk beds in the travel trailer, a daybed in the bus, or use tents. Please note that you only need University/Nightlife/OpenForBusiness expansions for the lot to work, however pictures of the lot were taken with all the expansions to illustrate how it will look during the seasons. The lot is fairly versatile and it has been used as a residential, community and apartment lot with success. As a home business you can charge admittance to the park with the ticket machine as well as sell fish or other crafts. Some files and recolors could not be packaged with the lot.  Based on typical retail mini malls found in America, Crown Pointe Shopping Center includes 4 businesses: Pizza Bella - Restaurant has a carry out counter for selling pizzas or other foods, dining area, kitchen and restrooms. Suds Laundromat - Self-service clothes washing/drying. Globetrotters Travel Agency - Office has a reception/waiting area, 3 agent offices, break room and restroom. The Postal Store - Based on the real life delivery service stores. Store area has copier, supplies, and post office boxes. Back room includes packing/sorting area, manager's office and restroom. Delivery Van is parked in front of store. Not included (and not needed) to play the lot are the Postcard Racks shown in the Postal Store or the vending machines in the Laundromat. Retail Sims has created a postal set with objects that would look great in the store.  This supermarket features natural and organic products. It has all the typical departments of a grocery such as a florist, produce, meat/seafood, deli, bakery, pharmacy, restrooms, plus it has an espresso bar with seating area. Upstairs has an employee locker room, break room and manager's office. Numerous recolors have been done to give the store a unified look including 8 recolors of bienchen83's grocery shelves so there is no stocking of shelves necessary. Products on the shelves are natural/organic brands as you would find in a health food store. Using an invisible cash register on an invisible counter along with bienchen83's checkout counter gives the impression the Sim goes through the checkout lane more realistically. The only downside to an invisible cash register is that you cannot directly click on it when playing the lot as a business. However, you can still assign an employee to work as a cashier and they will use it despite being invisible. If you need a proper register for the business owner, simply replace one of the decorative registers in the floral, meat or bakery departments. Also added are Greenway uniforms for teen/adult/elder and both genders. They are a recolor of the in-game apron uniform with white shirt, dark green pants and white apron with Greenway logo (Celtic Tree). The only thing NOT included is stocking of the meat department, deli and bakery counters. They have been left empty in case you wanted add your own foods or products. Items shown in the photos come from Retail Sims OFB Butcher Shop and mdhttr323's Antique Bakery Set.
