Yes, their last name is Atwood because I used some of the genetics from Liam Atwood for Amy, the mother of the family. I forget the username of whoever made Liam, but thanks to whoever made him anyway .
Anyway, I was expirimenting with existing Sims like CRAZY to make this family. So...here they are...
This is my ex boyfriend, Matt. I (and my friends that he cheated on with me, and vice versa) hate him. However, his Sim is fun to torture. I hope you feed him to your cow plant .
Aspiration: Romace (err derr...) Zodiac sign: Leo (with more nice personality points than most Leos, amazingly. He's very polite and charming, causing me to ALLOW him to "seduce" me and my friends) Turn-ons: EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING "ATTRACTIVE"! Turn-offs: Stink. Most everything else turns him on...even fat.

This is the message I have been getting today whenever I try to launch The Sims 2: "Failed to find DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics in the System! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer."
I Googled "DirectX 9.0c" and downloaded it, but I'm still getting the same message! Does it have to do with where I place the DirectX 9.0c files in my computer?
I added every file to a .zip file and placed it on the desktop. I even used Q-Xpress Installer to download it to The Sims 2 itself and see if that would help. But I still have nothing!
I (and the whole family) use the same Dell PC, but I don't know what kind it isand how much memory I have on it. All I know is that we got it sometime from 2003 to 2005. Maybe it's from 2004. I don't remember! Either way, I was either in the 4th or 5th grade. I've had The Sims 2 since summer of 2006, when I was going into the 7th grade. I'm now in the 8th grade. Sorry, I don't remember things by years, I remember things by what grade I was in! lol
I don't have all the information about my computer, but Microsoft stuff runs on it. It's not a Mac, that's all I really know. I hope it still helps you figure out the problem.
