can't you only have 8 kids in a home?

I used inSIm to keep having babies.  It allowed you to.

Of course now it hasn't been updated yet for FT, but I still have families with over 8 members living happily in Bluewater.  Two Jeffs' new SimBlender mod also allows a forced pregnancy, http://www.simbology.com/smf/index.php/topic,20.0.html though I haven't yet tried to see if it'll let a simmie have a baby in a full household.  Probably though, because mods that let you add people to a household (like Inge's Teleporter shrub and cat statue) http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Teleporters.htm will also allow more than eight.

Thank you so much!  They're just not enough fashionable gym outfits for my Warlokk gals.  Especially the original ones (varied cup & hip sizes).....which are still my favourites even though there's  less and less clothing being made for them.  Thanks for remembering!

21  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Free time patch? on: April 06, 2008, 12:03:49 am

ilikefishfood - I don't know - I didn't install it since none of the items listed in the bugs for the patch they pulled seemed to address anything I had experienced.  Check lewisb40's FreeTime patch announcement thread for details on what it seems to do : http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=78024

Thanks. So far I haven't seen anything particularly weird.  I swear, I'd rather give up the game that have to face a reinstall!

karla - the patch is a one-time install - after you install it - you cannot uninstall it or install it again.  You would have to uninstall FreeTime (don't do that without doing a back of your downloads and saved games!!) in order to install the patch a 2nd time.

There were obviously serious flaws with the patch that was released - otherwise EA would not have removed it (they did remove it, that much is for certain)

Exactly how detrimental is it to keep playing the game patched. Should we really do a full uninstall and reinstall?  (I just don't know if I have the patience for that.)

Not sure if anyone else knows it or not, but Aaron just informed me that ts2 took off the free time patch from the site for now.

Yep. 'Tis true.  Seems there was a problem because the gold sewing talent badge changes the objects file once a sim sews a new outfit......the patch it seems was looking for the original objects file and was throwing up errors on installation.  Don't know what that means for those of us who didn't have gold sewing badge sims, and so who managed to install the patch.  Will it be detrimental?  Who knows?!

Sadie........meet in the back parking lot behind the dumpster.  Bring a cup! Cheesy

Two Jeffs (he deserves to have his feet kissed), has created a wee mod that does a number of things that we've come to know and love inSIM for.  Just thought I'd share:

Oh, and I'm not sure if I missed this in one of the links, but Quaxi's no cendor blur is working fine for me in a virgin game with just that and Merola's mirror, so if anyone is having probs, it's gotta be some other mod causing a conflict.
