17  Resident Creators / EP5 Mods / Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit EP5 Updated(3/3/07) on: April 01, 2007, 10:08:53 am
**This mod is not compatible with my Dress Naked Mod or any other dresser hacks you may be using**

Does this also refer to the buy clothes at home that comes with the Insimenator, because you can also change clothing with that?
18  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Error messages on: April 01, 2007, 09:48:16 am
Hopefully this is in the right section. My pc is like my car, I know where to start it and how to drive it,but when I receive error messages I am at a loss.So today I decided to check if I have any conflicting files using the HCDU and it stopped halfway displaying the following message:
Error 53
File not found:SWsupport.dll
Module:modsimsPackage
Procedure:gfstrDecompressFile
Location:1000
Install Path: C:\DOCUME~1\Anita\LOCALS~1\Temp|_PA192
Data Path:C:\Documents and Settings\Anita\My Documents
Sims Path:C:\Program Files\EAGames\TheSims2\

What does this mean and how do I fix it.

The checking utility stopped at this and did not carry out the scan any further

Help is much appreciated.:smt120

Thanx for this!! Jusy wondering though, in one of the earlier versions of this there were special instructions for the installation involving the removing and replacing the want and tuning files. Must this be done with this as well orcan itsimply be installed in the downloads folder?

23  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Leftovers .... on: March 07, 2007, 06:24:29 am
Hi, I am playing with the Ottoman family created by Maxis in the Riverblossom 'hood, (since my own families now have different names and I have yet to figure out a way to get it right) , so the furniture in the house are the new ones that came with the game.
The sims can put the leftovers into the fridge, and I can instruct them to get it out, which they try to do.. only to get it out and for the leftovers to dissapear into thin air!
Don't know why? But I decided to go back to my old ways... put it in their own inventory, still fresh and warm when they need it later.

24  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Names changed on: March 05, 2007, 04:18:25 pm
Thanx for the replies! I have removed all the mods I had installed before installing the EP... must then be a bug? Would there be any cure for this soon, since some of the ladies now have male names and vice versa?
I thought of using SimPE, but was warned by the program not to use it.
Otherwise no other problems ..yet. Only played for an hour or so.
PS: I only play in Veronaville and the other hoods from there. It seems that the 'born' sims seems to keep their names, only the created ons had name changes.
Thanx for the help guys.

I know I read about this problem somewhere, but cannot remember where!

26  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Computor crashes on: January 30, 2007, 01:59:02 am
Yes, I do get the hourglass. Usually the game sort of restore itself, and play can continue. But, alas, not every time. I went about the hard way, taking files away, and putting it back. Seems like it is a lot that causes the conflict, everything else seems to be running fine. Will put that back one at a time and see which one if any. This involves hours of play, so thumbs up.

Thanx everyone for your help and advice!
Much appreciated!

28  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Computor crashes on: January 25, 2007, 12:54:13 am
Hi, hope this is the right place.
Have only a few mods, but all of a sudden the computor goes out of the game...sometimes flashing a blue screen and restoring itself after a minute or so, or sometimes completely crashes, that I have to reboot to be able to do anything. I do not know if this can be due to a file download or any of the mods. How do I find out what causes this?
29  Resident Creators / EP4 Mods / New Lifetime Wants EP4 Updated(10/26/06) on: October 28, 2006, 03:28:10 pm
Hi, this may sound ridiculous to some, but I'm new to all this moddings to the game. If it's said in the text file that the two packages should be backed up, do you mean copied or moved, or are the new ones to run tohether with the others?
I am looking forward to having more LTW's, am quite bored with the others!
