1  The Sims 3 / Pudding WCIF / Re: WCIF: Hexagonal Skintone or Full-Body Hexagonal Tattoo for Sims 3 on: March 09, 2016, 08:52:50 am
For those who are fans of Defiance and want to have Indogenes for your game, here it is.  Thanks to NiobeCremisi for creating not just the skin, but went the extra mile to do the eyes and even lip gloss.  Here's the link: http://niobecremisi.tumblr.com/post/140624003457/request-by-codeb2001indogene-skin-by-niobe-cremsi#post-notes
2  The Sims 3 / Pudding WCIF / WCIF: Hexagonal Skintone or Full-Body Hexagonal Tattoo for Sims 3 (SOLVED) on: January 25, 2016, 06:46:01 am
EDIT: Disregard this post.  Found someone to make the skin.  Thank you for your time. Smiley

Well, I've picked up The Sims 3 and several of the expansion packs.  And I happen to be a fan of the now cancelled TV show and still running MMO game Defiance.  So, I decided to start work on doing a sim character based on one of the races of the show.  The race I chose is Indogene, which are a race that are primarily bald, pale skin and have a hexagonal skin pattern.  Here is a picture of Trenna Keating as her character Doctor Meh Yewll from the show:

Eren Niden from the game:

As you can see from the pictures, the hexagonal pattern for the Indogenes.  However, if none of those are hard to see the skin, here's a link to another picture of Ms. Keating as Doc Yewll:

So, from what I'm looking for is either a hexagonal skintone or a full body hexagonal tattoo pattern so to make the Sim for both male and female sims (Yes, there are male Indogenes in the show's universe).  I will admit, I've looked into possibly making the skintone or tattoo pattern myself, but if its already been done, I'd rather download that and get it done without the hassle.  Thank you for your time.  Smiley
3  Simmers' Paradise / Accessories / Request: VR Glasses and/or Helmet. on: January 29, 2010, 12:48:47 am
I'm not sure how many people remember these from the original Sims game, but I'm putting a request for a VR helmet or VR glasses.
4  Simmers' Paradise / Sims / Request: Dean Stockwell on: November 15, 2009, 11:36:32 pm
Okay, my original request has long since been removed.  So, I figured I'd go for it again in hopes that maybe I can get it done.

I'm requesting a Sim of actor Dean Stockwell.  Many people recall him from "Quantum Leap" as Al, the invisible guide to Sam.  But for those who have seen him in the recent (and recently concluded) "Battlestar Galactica" may know him as Cavil.

I'm still needing this one if anyone is up for it.

Great job, Regina.  Seriously, out of all the films I've seen her in, my favorite has to be "I Want You."

I second this.  Definitely would be a great thing for any user wanting to do a Ghostbuster sim.  Cheesy
8  Simmers' Paradise / Hair / Re: Battlestar Galactica Space Flight Helmet as Hair on: July 01, 2009, 09:29:00 am
Hey, I know it's been a while on this request, but I've got something that could be useful for making the flight helmet possible.  At the following website, there is a motorcycle helmet that looks like it can be modified to match the shape of the flight helmet.  Here's the address to the site (helmet is down at the bottom of the page): http://sites.estvideo.net/bipsouille.sims/accessoires5.htm

I think it's a hair mesh, so it shouldn't be a problem to modify. It'd either be this one or Kavar's motorcycle helmet.  But I think that the one I've linked to is more round and close to the helmet of the show in shape than Kavar's.  But it's completely up to you, but I'd definitely would like to get this.

Thanks for all your help guys.  So far, the cheat codes are working like they should.  Smiley
10  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Am I doing something wrong? on: May 14, 2009, 10:42:33 am
Thanks for the heads up, ancienthighway.  I'll try that to see if it helps.

But the ones I was trying were all of the ones that were boolProp related, including the boolprop cheat to disengage the items to be alligned with the grid (I can't remember the exact one, but it doesn't have the true/false detail, it has an on/off detail), but all the ones I tried I kept getting the same error message.  Anyways, I'll retry them with the true/false detail and see if it works and give you a heads up on if it does or doesn't work.

Okay, before I begin, here is the game and EPs I have that are installed:
Base Game: "The Sims 2"
EPs: "University", "NightLife", "Open for Business", "Pets", "Seasons" and "Bon Voyage".

Now, here's the problem: I have begun looking into the boolProp cheats that many Sims 2 machinima makers have used.  After following the instructions, which was to hit Control+Shift+C to bring the command console down and then type in the cheat code (even the one to enable the cheats), I keep getting a message that looks like this:

ERROR TSCheatSystem: ERROR IN CHEAT: Expecting at Least 2 arguments in command '(name of cheat code)'. OnErrorClearParserTempState called.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?  If so, what is it and how can I correct it?
12  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / WCIF: VR Glasses/Helmet? on: May 01, 2009, 04:18:09 pm
I'm not sure how many people remember the VR glasses in "The Sims" (I can't remember if it was an actual in-game object or if it was a custom content object, but I remember having it in my game).  I tried to do a search for "VR glasses" in the search for Insim, but I kept getting "sunglasses" and the words that include the letters "v" and "r together.  So, I figured I'd post this WCIF in case someone else has found them.

So, does anyone know where I can find VR Glasses or a VR helmet for my Sims?  This can be an actual object with animation or this can be an accessory or a hair, just as long as they are VR glasses or a VR helmet.
13  Simmers' Paradise / Hair / Re: Battlestar Galactica Space Flight Helmet as Hair on: April 13, 2009, 01:00:13 am
BTW, if anyone who does this needs more pictures, let me know and I'll see what I can find.
14  Simmers' Paradise / Hair / Battlestar Galactica Space Flight Helmet as Hair on: April 05, 2009, 01:39:01 am
Now, as you know, I'm a "Battlestar Galactica" fan.  And I have been looking for some necessary items for "The Sims 2" that are based on the show, to which I hope to get before I can begin work on my machinima comic book fan fiction series and hopefully before "The Sims 3" comes around and we lose a lot of Sims 2 Content makers.

So, what I need, as a hair (or as an Accessory if doing it as a hair is not possible) that is the space flight helmet normally seen in the show.  This particular helmet is seen in Season 2 in the series through to the series finale. The following link has some good pictures of a replica of the helmet.  If you need further pictures, let me know and I'll see if I can get some good screencaps from the BSG DVDs in my collection.  I should point out that whenever an actor or actress wears the helmet, the padding within the helmet keeps from actually seeing their hair.  The glass of the visor may be difficult and may have to be done separately as an accessory, but from what I've seen with other examples, it's not impossible to do.  But I figured I'd give a heads up

Link with pictures of helmet: http://www.modelermagic.com/?p=9329

I hope that someone takes this on.  I would love to have it and use it for my Sims.

15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Recommended tutorials for making realistic Sim Skins? on: March 16, 2009, 02:16:38 am
I'm talking about the Skins for the character, not the clothes (you know, how you can change the skin color?  Those are skins.  And some of the best Sims available have customized skintones that have the actors/actresses face on it).  You know, the Skintone section is what I'm talking about.
