Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / AL Plumbbob not showing up in Neighbourhood view?

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem or has a solution to it. Most of the sims in my neighbourhood live in apartments only I can't tell because the plumbbob/housecion thing doesn't seem to show up in the Neighbourhood view, I suspect it might have something to do with my graphics card?
Any help is appreciated, please and thank you!

Hey all,
Several of my sims seem to have 'disappeared' I first noticed (in the Neighbourhood view) when I tried to load up a lot of a single sim only to find it empty and 'inactive' (no plumbbob above lots either), this also happened to one of my couples. After searching all lots, I decided to check the memories of sims acquainted with the absent sims. They seem to have the memory: 'Met $$Stranger' (or something like that) with a blank thumbnail. My guess is that they've been deleted (or corrupted) but I haven't opened their neighbourhood in SimPE since I installed Kitchen and Bath stuff and I'm too nervous to mess around in the Character folders.
Also I noticed something strange when I loaded up BS yesterday, one of the sims seemed to have generated the same file over again, I'm not talking about just the thumbnails; If I tried to edit them but they were ALL the same sim so I deleted them all. Might this have something to do with the reason some of my sims have gone AWOL?
Any help would be appreciated!

Notes: Her skintone is 'geneticised', either the maxis S2(Tan) or S3(Medium) skintone value (the lighting is messing with my eyes), If you'd prefer the customised version see Ingredients list. I have all expansions packs except FreeTime so use Clean Installer to install her.

Sharing some of my born in game kiddies. They are the children of Vance and Dior (a 'Human' version of Nnek'ka). Starting with the Oldest, Zeppelin CC included:  CC pictured but not included: Skintone by Rensim ( Freshie Tan) Hair by wyckedClothes from H&M stuff pack Zeppelin comes in maxis clothes (Green tracksuit) and hair and the default medium skintone (S3) Second born, Hudson

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Permanent Frozen Overlay (Resolved!)

Hi all, One of my sim kids got frozen and when he 'defrosted' only his head changed back, his body still retains the blue tinge, like so:  I believe the problem might have occurred due to the fact that he age transitioned while freezing and nothing I do seems to work. Hey all!
I'm currently in the process of turning several skintones into default replacements and in order to avoid serious pixellation I have been using the DXT5 format(Nvidia DDS Tools ) for compression, I knew the files would be larger but are they supposed to be about 30MB even though I converted the textures from bitmap to png? Any help on reducing the file size is appreciated, please and thank you!

Introducing Magnolia 'Maggie' Kowalski
Aspiration: Family History: In my game shes married to kimus' Lucien, they are having so much fun raising four children together, their oldest Lilian recently became a teen. Maggie is an avid gardener and won't mind becoming an elementary school teacher when the kids are a bit older. I played 'dress up' with her to show some of her possible 'looks' (shes fun to take pictures of :-P)     Notes: I think she has good breeding potential for those interested, she is packaged in maxis hair and clothes, also she was created in an unpatched Bon Voyage Bodyshop.

Hey all, I wanted to share one of my favourite sims, seems he has quite a few fans, so here is Vance Lecki Age:25 Aspiration:Family/Knowledge (his LTW is to send x amount of kids to college) History: As a child, Vance had also been more interested in books than people, so it was no surprise to his parents when expressed his dream of becoming a librarian, during his internship at the local library was when he met Dior (whom at the time thought the career of a Medical Physicist might be her calling) and the rest is as they say, history.
