Zuri, after enabling cc did you remember to exit and restart? Some have had to do this twice to get it to take. If that isn't the easy solution then I'm sorry I'm no help!

Interestingly BV has fixed one bug I had. Sometimes I get a sim who can't clean up the dishes, a bug, but not one worth worrying about. Now they can, so that's wonderful for a sim who lives alone.

I really like the 'walk to...' option. Much better than always calling a taxi. I have yet to try it in Uni, but I understand it works there too. It always irritated me that the YA's who, after all, live on campus, had to call a cab to get to the library, slackers!

Have a look out for any updated mods and hacks you use. People have had issues with outdated one's left in. Enjoy, it is fun!

I was suprised and dismayed to find I have 846 sims in my Strangetown. As this is a relatively new game there are only 3 born in game children and one CAS sim made to test BV. 24 are tour guides, but even so there are an awful lot of Maxian sims running around somewhere!
Apparently this number is not the kiss of death it was pre NL, so with the MATY fix in place I shall just continue on. Maybe one day my hood will last long enough to give Vidcund grandchildren.  Though probably not lol

For some reason I thought we would need a new version of all hacks.....silly me.
So turning off shadows, getting rid of the water balloon fights and adding more ram has got me a working vanilla game; now I just need to see if my 'real' cc filled game will work.

I've complained about the lag elsewhere, but I may as well complain here too!
My game computer is not on the internet, so I don't think it is the phone home option the new launcher has. I noticed that every time the lag happens someone has started a water balloon fight. I'm on the look out for a hack that can nuke this behaviour to see if that will help. If it's not that I'm out of ideas. I've turned off shadows, turned other graphical effects to medium, deleted groups cache, upped my ram to 2gig, even removed the sims folder and let the game generate a new one so that the test game really was vanilla. Bon Voyage will be fun eventually.....just not right now!

Every now and then I have a go at a CC and hack free game....especially when a new ep comes out. I last until someone has a baby then I just have to put in Inge's no empty potty hack. It's an oldie but a goodie. Sims carry on so much about emptying the potty and it just drives me crazy!

Brilliant. At last my sims have a use for that fur coat from Glamour, the Diva will be getting it ASAP!

CaesarIV! Love it! I get completely absorbed in my city and lose track of time. I'm trying to get through all the levels before Seasons comes out and I have no time for anything else.
I do like RTC3 as well. I loved Zoo Tycoon and have bought Zoo Tycoon2 but have yet to find the time to play it.
Theme Hospital was my very first computer game....just loved it. Must reinstall one day.

Mine is sitting on 1 gig. Not too bad, loading time is only two-three minuits. However I am not really downloading much at the moment. I'm waiting to see what changes Seasons will bring.

After having the game from day one, I've just started playing Pleasantview. And have had to come here for help after only a few days! Kicking trash cans must be the sport of choice there......but that has to stop! Once in a while is cute, twice a night every night is annoying!
