16  Simmers' Paradise / Mods & Careers / slower/no pregnancy motive decay.. and ? on: July 22, 2009, 02:01:02 am
i'm getting a tad annoyed at my pregnant sims because of their rapidly dropping motives. can anyone direct me to/or make a hack that has slower or absolutely no pregnancy motive decay? meaning, they lose their motives at the rate of other sims, no special pregnancy motive decay. or anything that is slower would work, too. i'd be happy if you could apply it to pregnant males, as well.
i'm clueless when it comes to making hacks and editing BHAVS with sim pe, and things like that.
i would appreciate it greatly.

there is one more thing,
if possible, i'm also getting annoyed at my really hungry sims as well. is there a way to have equal hunger gain for all foods?
so, if they're starving.. then cereal can fill them up just as much as pork chops or something like that could?
i know it's just a tad unrealistic, but it would be less of an annoyance. same with the pregnancy mod. though i would actually prefer a slower decay, rather than none at all.  Cheesy

anyways, thank you so much if you can do any of these requests.

oh, that's alright then. maybe you could just make it always available?
i think it already is in ACR, though..
would the enabling 'read children to sleep' be possible, then?

oh my god, he's the most adorable baby. your sister is very lucky. her son will be in my prayers, though i'm almost positive he will be fine. a little premature isn't too much to worry about. i'm sure my dad was pretty premature as a baby (even more so than aiden) and he's still here today.
he looks healthy to me, anyway. congratulations!

alright, thanks. i got rid of one of the files. i just need help finding mods that are outdated. i've been carelessly downloading without thoroughly checking if they were al/m&g compatible.

i've been going through and deleting a lot of the possible culprits. i have every expansion/stuff pack so i don't see how a mesh could be a problem.
the game doesn't seem to crash when my 'hacks' folder is out.

i'll attach what's in my hacks folder. maybe somebody knows what it could be?

23  Simmers' Paradise / Mods & Careers / pregnancy no/less motive decay hack? on: July 18, 2009, 06:04:05 am
i'd like a mod to make my game easier. i'm requesting that pregnant sims have no and/or possibly less motive decay during pregnancy. maybe it'll help my pregnant sims NOT starve to death every time they get knocked up.  Explode
thanks, to anybody that can do this. or if it was possibly already done? though i've never seen it.

so, to update you guys, there is no more shower disappearing. but my game is still randomly crashing?? outdated mods can cause game crashing, right? but which ones? that is the question. i separated my hacks from the rest of my downloads, and it says i have about 200 something hacks. there are no conflicts, but something is definitely outdated. mostly the crashing is on a community lot, now. has anyone else had this problem or know what could possibly be causing the game to crash?

so making it as a separate action wouldn't be possible? just making it always available will be good, too. i'm appreciative for whatever you can do.

i know, but i mean hit on regardless of relationship score. sort of to test the waters. like if a sim is attracted to another sim, they do 'hit on' and if the action is accepted, they both are attracted to each other. i don't know, just a thought. 'hit on' would be completely separate from the 'flirt...' category.

i think that sounds good, actually. i think that's what i was trying to ask for. if he can do that, i would really appreciate it.

oh, alright. i knew the interaction was there, just not how to initiate it. thank you, all.
this board can be locked now, i guess.

using this hack, when i had my teen sim grow up from the regular birthday cake, she aged into a young adult instead of adult. is this supposed to happen?
