Not that type of reward.  You have to get your yard up to specs, call the garden club.  When the garden club representative shows up, you ask for a membership.   The garden club inspects your yard.   (it is important to have all of your fruit trees and garden plants happy and well tended).  The garden club loves to see your yard full of plants, fountains and statues.  If you get a high enough score (don't have any debri laying on the ground).  They will give you money and a wishing well.

Oh awsome thanks I thought there was something wrong with my game.. also do they get umbrellas when it is raining outside?

9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Installation Steps... ? on: March 30, 2007, 02:37:45 pm
I just got seasons yesterday and after reading through a few help posts I am now slightly reluctant to install it! What I was wondering however, was if I have to move my whole downloads folder out of the sims folder and then install it, or just pick through to get all the hacks out? Has this been asked before? I read somewhere about patches as well... I have never used them honestly, but I have Nightlife, university, and FFS. Do I really need them?

Thanks, i have winRar, and I don't really need other programs, I just need the problem fixed. My mum even rang the shop where we got the computer from, and the person didn't know. I'm trying to use this so we don't have to pay for a professional to come in and fix it. My family aren't computer geeks lol I just know the basics.
13  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Resolved: Help please! on: February 22, 2007, 06:09:49 pm
This is a semi-related sims problem, if this is in the wrong place, sorry. My mum has recently gotten into meshes for her sims game (she has it on her laptop and my one is on the shared computer) and she doesn't get internet on her one so she downloads her stuff then saves it to a disk and puts it on her game... Blah de blah. Anyway yesterday she did a stupid thing while downloading stuff, when the box comes up saying do you want to save or open folder...she clicked 'do not show this message again'.

Well I think she did. My problem is, I can't save anything and whenever I click to download something it says 'downloading temporary folder' then starts to open winzip which doesn't work because I was just trialling it, and now the 40 days is over. We've tried searching the help system in our computer but she isn't exactly sure what she did which doesn't help, I know! The 'save or open folder' box doesn't come up anymore so I'm asuming she did something that wouldn't show it again.

I have windows xp. If someone could help it would be much appreciated! I'm trying to figure out as much imformation as I can. Basically, I can't download anymore stuff for the moment. I'm not sure if this goes here, please tell me if it doesn't.
14  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What is the size of your 'Downloads' Folder ? on: January 30, 2007, 10:15:49 pm
1.52 G, and 4,525 package files, and that is not counting the numerous other things that are on another cd. But currently I can't download until Feb 8th :sad4: That's when the broadband ticks over.
