Hello!

I am sooo glad that I decided to put my 3D program onto my works laptop for when I went away. Otherwise I would've been bored! Because guess what I managed to achieve! :lol: I've only made some matching-ish chairs haven't I! I say ish, because I forgot to pack the tutorial with me that I printed off that would teach me how to add a glass texture. Doh! So, they've got a gold frame and 4 recoloured cushions each. There's three different designs, one to match each table. I've also included some screenshots of them for you. Any problems, let me know and I'll sort it for you.

Right, I have a question...or maybe two.:grin: First of all, thanks to Kathy for pointing me in this direction! Ta!:grin: :thumbup:

As you know, I've made my glass and gold dining tables. I am having some...no, lots of difficulty in trying to make some matching chairs! I have been trying to somehow add the textures and whatnot from the 'Beta Fomicron Dining Table', the glass and the gold bits, into a chair file. *sighs* But, have failed miserably at each and every attempt, I'm embarrassed to say! I desperately need to make some chairs that match as I'm getting nagged, lol!

I can mesh a chair, that's no problem, but it's getting those textures. It's all so confusing to me! And it's starting to get me frustrated! So, is there a way in which I can change the globals of the table so that it becomes a chair? I've made a chair using those materials from the table, as a table file, but, of course, it stays as a table! :lol: The chair looks great, but I can't use it! lol

I have to warn you, that I am very slow with these kinds of things, so the more details that anybody can help me with, the better! Then I won't have to ask so many questions!:lol: But any help will be very much appreciated, thank you.

I love my daughter. You know why? Because that very bright girl has been showing me how to mesh AND how to successfully get my very first own made 3D meshes into the game!:grin: <--- BIG smiles here from me today! So, Becki, here's a big squishy hug from your Dad, thank you for helping me.

Ok, here are my very first objects straight from the drawing board of Matt's Workshop! I've made three different dining tables...that somehow came out gold!:lol: Don't ask me how as I have no idea, they just did! :lol: I've tested them fully in the game and they do work! (Miracle! lol). I've provided some screenshots of me eating my breakfast at them and also of them on their own. Zip files are attached also for each. I made them with all the expansions installed. I'm not technical on these things, so I'm crossing my fingers that they work for you! If you have any problems, let me know and I'll try and help you.

At some point, I will be making some chairs to go with it...hopefully!:lol: I've got some holiday time coming up soon, so I'll try to make some then. I hope they match!:lol: .:smile bi:
