Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I thought sims took 10% of household funds when moving out?

Ah thanks! I feel stupid. But this is my first time moving people out from the houses they live in with familys. Well I do use University, maybe thats why I got confused? (When leaving there I most of the time have a house of 3 and over $100,000) As for Monique's computer I use it alot I think it's my favorite hacked object but I didn't want to use it this time since the banking system can some what be seen as a cheat...

I've played The Sims 2 for along time... Got all the expansion packs and some of the stuff packs. I feel really stupid for asking this now... But I thought I read that if a sim moved out of their Parents house they took 10% of the family funds? I had over a million on my sim when I thought I would branch out the family and move out a sim... But instead of starting with $100,000 they had $20,00. As you can see this is the first time I've ever moved a sim out.

I don't know where to post this... But I've been playing seasons... And have all expansion packs... My sims all want to go out on dates and flirt... (Even my one who is a money sim) I've tooken out all downloads to see if that was the problem... But it wasn't... They are all plant sims... Could this be the trouble? Or am I just un-lucky?
Edit: Never mind it looks as if I'm just Un-lucky... After a few sim days of game play the Wealth sim started wanting to buy things like a normal wealth sim. (Still having trouble with the Knowledge sim though.. But I think it might be due to the fact her parents were so loving to each other...)

A bit about these... God is the pink kitty (Yes he is pink but it's subtle) he is a real cat... And is the brother of Lucifer who was also a real cat (She was a blue cat...) But sadly she died before geting past kitten hood. I hope you enjoy these two!

Hello this is my very first download ever for the sims (one and two...) I hope you like her... There really isn't much to say about her... Except I was sorta inspired by Doggidy she's part Collie part wolf... No she doesn't have the fur colour of the spirit collie (would be cool if she did). Anyways please tell me what you think of it!
