To Install - place the .sc4 & .png files in your My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\SC4Terrains folder (make sure they aren't in a subfolder or they won't show up. I zip them in a folder.)

CUSTOM NEIGHBORHOOD PICTURE
---------------------------
In order to create a custom picture to represent your neighborhood on the main menu, first save the picture you wish to use as a .png file (a 4x3 size ratio works best, but pictures with other proportions will be stretched to fit). The file must be named N0XX_Neighborhood.png (where XX is the neighborhood number). Then place the file in the neighborhood's directory (e.g., My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods\N004).

26  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Neighborhoods / Another SC4 Terrain, flat beach lots on: October 17, 2007, 05:28:49 pm
I wanted a terrain that didn't feel quite so huge but would still have plenty of room if needed. So I played around in SC4 and came up with this one. I made one section on slightly higher ground (road on the farthest right).

shown using mostly the largest beach lots.

more beach lots could fit, if you want them too

the little sandbars are for those of us that like to decorate our hoods

27  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Neighborhoods / 2 more SC4 Terrains, smaller, flat beach lots on: October 14, 2007, 08:02:57 pm
smaller ones were requested... (by people at MATY)

Sleepysandbar1 - Shown using mostly the largest beach lots. Many more can fit, i just got tired of placing them... I should have named it beach lot heaven, it's not really much smaller...

Sleepysandbar2 - Shown using the largest beach lots. This time I managed to make a smaller one...

28  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Neighborhoods / My third SC4 Terrain, plenty of space for flat beach lots on: October 13, 2007, 05:36:05 am
Ok first I want to say that the original terrain is named Harmony it was made by Juliejaz1  at mts2
http://forums.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=251979

She truly did a wonderful job, the beach lots are totally flat Smiley

ok so I played yet again... pictures tell it all... they are all flat. Shown using mostly the largest beach lot.

Note: If like me you prefer the smallest beach lots - some spots will require a large beach lot to be placed first, then you can bulldoze it and place the small beach lots in those spots.

and many more could fit if you really want

have fun Wink

I edited it and now I love it even more!  Grin  My version can fit 50 totally flat beach lots (the smallest beach lots, thats the only one I use) ...and 4 more that do have a bit of a slope and aren't even on the beach  (the little pond didn't show up in SC4)

note: on checking some of the beach lots - A few of the 50 flat lots aren't totally flat, some are a little bumpy but you can easily level those sections. Other then that I think 1 or 2 might have a slight slope down to the beach.

see, they are totally flat

note: BV is only needed if you want to use real beach lots, SC4 terrains don't care what EPs you have or don't have.
